    Kawhi would be Mamba 2.0.

Do you guys remember when Kawhi sought out Kobe over the summer to work on his game? I remember seeing a video the following season showing what Kawhi had learned from Kobe.

Here's one of the vids. Watch the eerie similarities in the video below... enjoy!

What Kawhi thinks of Kobe... and even what Pops thinks!

Kobe should just tell Kawhi to demand a trade to the Lakers. :)

Of course he’s not, I just said he has those skills.

I’m comparing him to Randle which Ingram is clearly the better value, has a much brighter ceiling, and better fit.

If we could get Kawhi with tradig Randle without sacrificing BI, that should be our best situation.

I believe some of the movement is the number of bets. Basically if a massive number of people are betting on the Lakers, the line will move to accommodate them so Vegas makes more money. I believe that's what happened when we went from 1/100 to 1/60 or something like that earlier this week for the odds to win a title.

However, these lines are the set lines which means Vegas knows something a) about what's happening behind the scenes and b) what people are going to bet on. If the Lakers truly didn't have great odds, they'd have set the lines further back. Think about when we were 6th best in odds to win the title. That's a bet for Laker fans because of our numbers and the vague rumors we were getting so-and-so and such-and-such. But to put us as the prohibitive favorites to get Kawhi and LeBron means Vegas is protecting themselves against a large number of bets when they know an outcome is likely. For instance, if Kawhi and LeBron weren't coming here, they'd likely have set the line in that same 4-6 range in terms of percentage.

It'll be interesting to watch the line move. If it moves quickly back towards that 4-6 range, then I think they've heard the wind changed and Kawhi isn't getting here. But at this point, betting against the Lakers just doesn't seem to be a great bet right now and that's significant.

leonard and george are two of my favorite players in the league, and lebron is the best one. any of these things happening would be pretty great.

Sure sounds like they could use guys like Randle, TB and Zu (bit of a stretch I know...)

Plus anybody get the sense we're rumored to move up to get a mid 1st round pick to parlay it to the Spurs?

did woj really say leonard would balk at joining lebron and george in la, and that's why the clippers are on the list? he wants his own squad?

    that would complicate things...a lot.

I'd be more than ok with Kawhi and George, and telling Bron to join the clips if he wants to be in LA

then we could keep Julius and some of the kids, and give it two years to be in the Finals.

Woj doesn't want Leonard to be a Laker. He doesn't want LeBron to be a Laker. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Laker fan either, it's true. He liked this Tweet:

Woj doesn't want the Lakers to be anything.

That is just pathetic... What did the franchise ever do to him? Personal feelings over objectivity.

Michael Lee? Be disappointed if he joined us? The Miami move was with a Super Team which started this whole kind of thinking. Easy way out...

What we assembled has been done through the draft.

Woj isn't even that good anymore...its SHAMS who beats him to every story now.

I'll take what Shams says over a Woj bomb....

Yeah. Except 3/4 of it may be gone now with the realization Zo will not be here either. As many expected Magic and Rob were not going to take this **** forever from LaVar and not have Lonzo be his own man and shut it down himself if he was going to be a Laker and be paid multi millions of dollars working for them.

Vegas responds yes but This is more than that.

And remember I said I thought he was the least likely of all these guys to end up with us.

Bottom line, I trust Vegas a whole lot more than any talking head.

Considering the analysts continue to question whether Leonard would be comfortable in the spotlight of the Lakers, I’m not really seeing why he would then prefer to be “the guy” on a different team, but still in a big market.

99% of what is being reported sounds like conjecture. The only thing I believe is he wants out of San Antonio (at the moment; I still think there’s a very real possibility he takes the supermax if offered).

Lebron, PG, and Kawhi are dying to play together. I have that on good authority. Will it happen? Depends on magic, rob, pop, and beuford.
