Kawhi Leonard Discussion: “I’m A Snake Clipper Guy.”

We can't have inexperienced people trying to prove themselves and figure things out on every level of the team. We were filled with inexperienced executives, coaches, medical staff, etc etc.

Enough with amateur hour. Jeannie keeps talking about Laker greatness, well go out and bring in some great people.

More importantly, great people who actually know how to do the job they are given, TODAY. Not next week. Not next year. Not after learning and growing on the job. TODAY.

These aren't internships (although I am sure there are plenty of kids walking around college campuses in LA that could do a better job in some of these roles than what we have seen). We don't have time for folks who need to figure it out.

Get an executive who can hit the ground running.

This isn't hard at all. There is no need to "what if" any of this. Clean house and get some real professionals in here.

 

Maybe Rob has the "in" with Kawhi and that's why Jeanie hasn't fired him yet?

None of us know the true extent of Rob's reputation around the league, and whether he can be an effective GM. But the reality is that we have the option of going out and finding the best person available. So why WOULDN'T we do that?

Yeah. For the longest time, I was a Jeanie defender, even when she dragged her heals firing Jimmay. I figured it's not an easy thing to do to fire the guy your late father wanted running the team, and she deserved the benefit of the doubt. But the last two years have shown me she's not cut out to be a modern NBA owner. I'm an eternal optimist, so I will cling to the idea that Kawhi still wants to come here, but I fear our fortunes will not reverse until we get new ownership.

 

I'm assuming Rob masterminded Magic out the spot. Magic didn't want to get in the way of Jeanie and Kob.

So Rob could very well be a snake...so heressss to making the best out that situation.

Watching Kawhi vs Orlando. This is EXACTLY the guy we need. No doubt in my mind if we could add Leonard we contend for #17 next year. He’s so doggone good.
