If we’re insulting Lebron for any reason I’m in!

    How can I assist here?

Dang this is going to be a long season. Our main leader has zero charisma SMH.

It sucks how they treated Derozan and it reminds you that at the end of the day, it is a business. But maybe things would be different if he didn't disappear every playoffs.

i hope same thing happens to pg but in his case i want to see him being salary dumped lol. ..n no dd got what he deserved, loyalty only takes you so far...he has been absolutely terrible when facing clev in the playoffs or in general when tor faces stiffer competition

So Jay-Z (Puma) vs Drake (is he still with Jordan brand or is he with Adidas now?... Well we certainly know he's Adadi to Adidon) will be an interesting subplot to all of this.

    Your argument lacks context.

Serious question, how did Derozan spurn us as a free agent? There were reports going into free agency that he might want the homecoming to LA, but I don't recall anything ever coming from DD's camp that he was considering coming back. Did he really spurn us or is it just our revisionist history as Lakers fans?

I wouldn't really say he spurned us, he chose the better situation (I mean, our team 2 years ago? bleh) and decided to stay loyal to the team that drafted him. Everyone just generally assumes a player wants to come back to play for the Lakers because they're from the area.

That's why I wouldn't put all my eggs in a basket for Kawhi.

If there was ever a player wired to stay his entire career in a small market, I would put my money on Kawhi Leonard.

I think PG thought better of LA after being in Indy and OKC. You have more freedom to actually live your life.

I'm sure puma would go all in on Kawhi and want him in a bigger market. Kawhi's Uncle knows what's up. This will be a rental, the raptors look really bad thanks to DeRozan

Yeah. I don't look at it as DeRozan spurning us since he was pretty consistent in saying he wanted to stay in Toronto. We shouldn't be mad that he wanted to stay with his wife he grew to love (Toronto) rather than divorce her to try and hook up with his prom date he never got to first base with (Lakers). We should feel bad for him though because after that show of loyalty his wife divorced him to be with a more wealthy man in a relationship everyone knows won't last.

I'm just looking forward to seeing the spectacle that Drake tries to put on to convince Kawhi and his reps to stay. It's going to be quite the 'WIFF'

Yea, I can see Jay-Z scooping him up for Puma once he gets to the Lakers market. It would be a nice match.

Which way he trying to run?

That’s a nasty one. Only PG’s comes to mind as being worse.
