No matter where Kawhi goes or stays this season, I don't get the impression he'll P**** PG us. He seems way more vocal than PG did last year doesn't he?

No. He's a surly looking mute. But his camp talks a lot apparently.

If Kawhi indeed is strict in wanting to be a Laker, the Spurs are in a no win situation. They either get a bad deal and he goes to LA in a year or they hand the Lakers the next few titles right now. Either way, they lose and they won't get shot while watching the Lakers win.

Wow check the news today and turns out the Raptor deal was BS. Totally blindsided by this ;) What is this, the 5th deal leak about Kawhi going elsewhere that turned out to be BS? I called it as did many but I thought Vegas was smarter than that...If I were a betting man...

Alright Pop, RC, you boys are starting to look a bit sad now. Ya gave it the ol' college try but you just ain't getting squat for your '91 Wing with a broken quad and attitude. Here, trade him for this shiny almost-new rarely-used '97 Croation Center and a late 1st round pick.

    Per Ohm:
He pretty much left out the Spurs by name, but you know who Magic was addressing.

    Leverage...LA!

Was there a report that said Toronto had no plans to make a trade offer for Kawhi? I couldn’t find anything to read up on.... The only thing I found that came up today is a report that said Kawhi wants LA and isn’t interested in being a rental.

The news was only because of s sports betting site did it to get clicks. They maxed what could be bet to cover themselves. Basically cheap advertising by using a semi plausible scenario

I think the spurs will get the best deal with the Lakers, whether it’s a direct deal or three way deal. This may sound odd, but I think the Lakers would actually give more than they would have to, at least from our perspective on Lakersball, to get Kawhi in the interest of fairness.

I say that because I notice in all of their dealings Mag and Peli have taken a fair approach with the players traded and have exchanged fair deals with other teams. I think this goes to Peli’s agent experience to give the message to agents that your player will get a fair deal here. And I think Mag wants to elevate the professional image of the Lakers even more by dealing professionally with the league. They are your competition, but they are also your business partners that you will need at times.

In the long run this strategy will work because it will make the Lakers a desired destination beyond the perks of being in L.A. and all that goes with it, and more deals will come across their table because agents will be more willing to check with them for deal possibilities.

This would be a really tough decision, because so love me some JHart so muc, but I would do it.

    Hart+Deng+1st for Jimmy.

How bout Wagner, Svi. deng, zubac and 2 1sts for Jimmy? Without including Hart it seems like a loss for Minny unless he comes to us next year and we dont give up anyone.
