I thought he played alright. The body language in the first quarter told me that this team is still veeeery off. I loved his energy though and while DJ is a tough match-up, I thought he did about as well as could be expected.
I don't think he did that bad at Center. I advocated starting him when Lopez went down to experiment with him at the 5. Luke is dense, though. The obvious things take him a longer to grasp.
That sounds so pretentious coming from the armchair coaches amongst us. But damn on the surface a lot of this sure seems too obvious for him to be that dense. Maybe that's it or likely that's it. Maybe below the surface as many have speculated there are agendas and micro management coming from the FO to Luke with what's needed for the best chances to be successful with their "plan"?
Oh no LVBD I did not at all mean that toward your post ..... rather to the rest of us all (because it could have come from any of us) that are getting so frustrated with the guy and what we assume is him just not being that good of a coach at least yet in a number of areas.
fouled out when the team needed him most end of the bench for you scrub! On a serious note, I wish he had longer arms. ***cue trex JR gif***
Superb game. 29, 15 and 6? Yeah, that's pretty good work. Also some nice defense as usual. Shame about the foul out. But seriously, no one else can do what Randle can on this team. His switching on guards is phenomenal. The other bigs just can't do it effectively. Really, not too many guys in the league can at the level that he does. He has taken the Draymond Green role to heart and he's second only to Green in that arena. 6 assists tonight. Unreal.
I'm not 100% there with you yet. We have too many players suited for the same position though. He's a PF, not a Center. If he plays center, it should NOT be for 30+ minutes. So you have a keeper in Kuzma, and 6'11" guy in Ingram, Nance as a backup, and now you're chasing PG and LLLLL? Front office has some pretty serious choices to make coming up. Fans are definitely not going to like all of them.
Great game and we desperately needed him down late game. That 6th foul was stupid but why even stick your hand in there and put yourself in a position to get a foul call.
I'm with you. I like how Julius has played this season (especially defensively) and he played great today. However, it's very disappointing that his jump shot has not developed much at all during his time here. It's limited his offense in addition to not being able to use his right hand. If he had a consistent jumper, he would be a definite keeper.
