I'll gladly eat crow if JR can show consistent energy & stay engaged like he was vs. WASH.
I really like the guy, loved that we drafted him.. Hope he continues to improve.

Still needs to get his hands up on defense. Not a hard thing to do. See Nance, see Pope, see Lonzo, see any decent defender. More passes will be deflected and more concern put onto the ball handler as to which way he thinks he can go or pass the ball that Randle's not ready for.

Did he not watch Metta for all the years he was around? His fast hands wouldn't have been so great had they been hanging down all the time. Dummy.

doesn't help that Ju likes to roll before he even is set, but that's because the guard is already going before he is set.

He is getting his arms up, but they are so short, it's hard to notice. :Kareemlook:

LOL. No, actually that is how they're positioned almost all the time when he's in his defensive stance/crouch. Find me a shot of same stance with hands up.

Which movie was they they put icy hot on the players' armpits so they would practice having their arms up? Do that.

Come to think about it.... Kuz has the same height and arm length, no? How come we don't chastise him the same way?

Luke echoed the same thing saying 'We don't win that game without him".

The one that gave KCP the open 3 from the Lonzo pass in the corner with 1 min left in OT was the big one that comes to mind.

The arm thing is overblown, the same way people were saying he's undersized as a PF, yet he's better at defending C's than Nance and most other PF's.

Loved the 3 blocked shots and 2 of them against Wall. Stayed on and with him and then blocked him. 2 in crunch time.

Another beast game on both ends and what does he get for his efforts.....

Pulled during the critical part of the game to watch Nance get ISO post ups.

Luke has been pissing me off with the way he's handled Randle. Start the man he deserves it, our half court offense will look 10 x better with him than Nance. Nance is a bench player due to his limited offense

    I don’t understand why Julius isn’t starting.

His energy, his playmaking skills, his rebounding, interior defense and ability to switch, and his improved post play.

Nance is a backup PF. He doesn’t have enough of an offensive game to be starting over a clearly superior player in Randle.

    I'm tempted to go:

    Ball
    Hart
    Kuzma
    Randle
    Lopez

For starters. Energy, offense, and D.

    2nd unit:

    Clarkson
    KCP
    Ingram
    Nance
    Zubac/Bogut

Not liking the combos that much, but whoever he goes with needs some continuous time together to build chemistry

What's sad is i think Luke won't start Randle until Nance gets injured.... Which sucks
