LOL I came to rescue his thread and to say Rob did a nice job picking JTA up too. He’s starting to give us somewhat of what Stanley Johnson gave us with his size, defense, toughness and even hitting his 3s two games in a row. Not as athletic but he’s strong. Ham ought to play him more. But around here he gets almost no love and even earlier was denigrated for being picked by some. Not to mention having the ever typical around here tag of injury prone “declared “ about him because he rolled an ankle after weeks earlier missed two or three games with a back thing. And what do I find?
Nice game from JTA tonight. I liked the pick up as well. Hopefully he can retain some good health from here on.
Who'd-a thunk that playing bigger wings would be more successful than playing NBA dwarfs. Glad to see him healthy and back in the rotation. His rebounding and energy has been a breath of fresh air.
Not what I’d typically rescue one of our players for from page 2. Just warning peeps we may see this guy walking into an arena on a game day in a dress at some point. >>> depending on style & color >>> or
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Russ is making 47 mil this year, JTA is making the minimum, so he flushed thousands of dollars supporting Russ.. financially… This is why athletes go broke.
He said Russ is the best team mate he ever had. That’s high praise after coming from the Warriors culture.
Looked like an awesome teammate. Russ and LeBron were close to him. Unfortunately, his offensive skills don't allow him to be a factor. Like Thybulle, need to play in a specific system. Hope he remains in the league, nice dude
Really thought JTA would be a great fit, but he seems to have lost some twitch and burst from his Golden State days. By all accounts he was a great teammate and leader. I wish him well at his next stop.
felt bad he had to go, but ham didn't trust playing him. i'm guessing he'll be back in the league next year, though.
