seems like a case of overrating a player because they played for a great team

but i do agree that he really hasn't played enough to completely give up on him

Back I know, was there something else that you describe as injury prone? I think he played 72 games for the champion Warriors this past season. A s*** happens severe ankle roll landing on one of your own teammates doesn’t qualify to be called injury prone for it. Lol tough guy.

i just don't get being worked up about a vet min guy who was sort of hired into a dudley role.

i don't know if anyone actually is, but the tone of some of the posts are weird, imo. our 12th guy has been a hurt a lot.

Rather have him in there than Beverly. Put the effort into making that work instead of midget ball.

"Make that (scheme) work " Directed at Ham, as opposed to trying to make midget ball work.

What's obvious? You didn't debunk / even reply to ... anything I saId above.

Reply to the points I made above, don’t just ignore and state the same thing. I don’t agree if you’re only bit***** about his back for a few games and that freak landing on his own teammate for a severe ankle roll. He played in 72 games last season for the Warriors.

saying someone's injury prone clearly implies an internal, stable cause. if it didn't mean that, you'd just say: he's been hurt or is hurt right now. i think you're dissembling.

it's the same reason we can say someone is stupid or someone made a mistake or did a dumb thing. the former implies a trait of the person, the latter implies something else.

if you say a player is injury prone, i expect a long history of injuries at a rate greater than expected for similar other players.

man so much uproar for a bench warmer...theres multiple reason a player can be injury promrwhether its due to said player fault or not, or being "unlucky"

Dude I asked you what besides the back thing that kept him from being available a few games, indicated he was injury prone here? Was there something else? It sure as **** is not the fact he severely rolled an ankle. That is a s*** happens injury, especially landing on your own player. NOT injury prone. Plus then you b****ed at Pelnka for picking him up as “another” injury prone player. Just get tired hearing this s***.

accurate and not refuted in any way in the recent exchange.

b****ing just to b**** is weird. no evidence JTA is injury prone or a bad use of a vet min.

if you want to say you're frustrated he's been injured and hasn't been able to help the team, say that. if you want to go beyond the data to make points against management, be prepared for reasonable pushback.

yes. it's a statement based in fact and centered on observable evidence, unlike "he's injury prone" or the implication that rob is at fault for picking up an injury-prone player (because he was not previously injury-prone). similar deal with nunn, tbh. as if you're supposed to know that guys who haven't missed much time historically would suddenly break upon arriving in la.
