Putting in some work. Still looks more like a big guard/small forward to me. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRafNTby/
Looks good. Also looks like Handy’s developmental duties are starting to take a toll on him physically.
Age creeps up on us all eventually. I imagine that Phil has been working plenty of long hours this offseason.
there is no real news on tiktok SMH #fakenews Need a real source here. Side note, I kept looking at the title and was like JTA? Who is that? roster fluff until proven otherwise I guess, or I just clearly don't keep up with the league any longer. and for that I blame leBron. The comments on that vid indicate fans like him and will miss him. that's a good sign at least. Also means he doesn't fit on a roster full of douche bags. May never get off the bench. Feeling positive again today..... peace out.
Yeah, I confess since Kobe was gone, I'm pretty casual observer. But since leBron arrived, just mostly unwatchable style of basketball. And in this case, It sounds like he's better than I thought, but I don't see him talked about much on here. I find that odd.
he's been a good role player for gs, but he played more when they were terrible, so a casual fan probably wouldn't have seen a ton of him. the question is whether he can thrive outside their system/culture. the concern is that gs is like the old spurs--role players look better there because they're a great organization with great stars and a consistent system. sa's guys used to crash and burn elsewhere and be replaced by no-names who replicated their success. they're basically the version of the league that exists everywhere in slick's mind. i don't think that's true, and JTA should be a solid 15mpg glue guy type. i expect him to play sf when lebron's not.
in theory/on paper, he's an ideal fit here, imo. he should get some of the same types of shots he got in gs due to our star gravity, and he may be the closest thing to that wing defender people have wanted so much. we could put AD/lebron/JTA/reaves/bevs out there and really stifle some folks.
he's a 3/4, which is where we start our two best players, so unless there's injury, his role will have to be somewhat limited. still a bit peeved we dumped stan, though, as we'd have two of these types (JTA has been better, of course).
Absolutely. Unless we decide to play AD at the 5 in certain instances. He can play the 4 in that scenario.
I wanna go on a houseboat trip to Lake Oroville. Doesn't mean it's happening since it's a puddle. Hope his chances are better. They've all been aware for awhile now what the buzzwords are to suck up to the new coach.
he's going to figure out the offense and defense faster than everyone not named lebron, and that's going to get him on the floor a lot, imo.
