I can think of reasons players don’t hear about trades first. But it is poor form not to contact them afterwards to say thanks and bye. Do we know that didn’t happen?
Hart is saying everyone hated to play for the Lakers....and obviously that sounds a lot like blaming the Lakers franchise for the shortcomings of the team. Ya Rob is a snitch and Magic was a clown...but they weren't on the court missing wide open 3s. Hart was good the first couple of months and pretty useless the rest of the way.
I wasn't aware he was saying and implying that .... sorry. Didn't watch the clip. I thought he was just having a problem with finding out on twitter when it happened. As to the last months of the season he was hurt too and tried to play through it but clearly wasn't as effective as earlier.
it would suck playing for the lakers when they're terrible. i mean, if you're terrible in denver, literally nobody cares. that said, you had something to do with the team being terrible, as did all your whining buddies. i'm guessing you'll contribute to NO being terrible, but it will be more fun because, again, nobody cares.
Role player talking like he’s a superstar because Lebron hugged him and he balled out in summer league..... You weren’t told about the trade because you weren’t relevant enough to be privy in the discussions. Draymond Green insert quote: “They don’t love you like that....you thought you was Kobe” I’ll miss the player not the ego and the trash that comes out of his mouth.
I think we’re getting a dose of what we can expect from the next generation of players. Sensitivity, entitlement, cluelessness, lack of perspective, etc.
You guys are right...last season when the Anthony Davis trade popped up, Hart was asked what he thought about the rumors and he answered:" who?" to Anthony Davis, who is a multi-time all-star...if anything Hart was the "who?" of the trade rumors...being cocky isn't necessarily a bad thing but when you are a bench guy trying to stick around, maybe you should be a little more humble. I don't hate Hart even though his bitter comments about the Lakers prove that he is butt hurt which I get...but come on dude, you haven't done **** in this league to talk trash about an all-star or the most historical/storied franchise in the league. In that regard, I have to say, props to Lonzo. He hasn't been perfectly classy but way classier and certainly a bigger piece of the trade than Hart has been.
Good hustle plays to create second chance opps for his team. Shooting 82% at the stripe with a pair to tie the game then Mark Jones jinxed him.
He is always hurt though. And he lacks size, something Bradley and KCP lack as well. We need a tall wing defender who can hit 3s. Right now Iggy seems about the right guy.
last two years, iggy has shot 28% and 33% from three--that's with basically nobody guarding him out there (think rondo). if we got him, it's for d and facilitation only. which would be great. as for hart, he would be helpful, but he's not better than bradley and is only marginally better than caruso, imo. and yeah, add in that he's hurt a lot and it's not a huge loss.
Ya Iggy isn't the greatest shooter. But at least he doesn't shy away from shots (at least in his hey days). We need some size and strength on the wing.
Always hurt? AD averaged the same amount of games his first four years. If you are going to put the always hurt label on Josh... then you need to apply that to AD as well. And no I'm not saying they are anywhere near the same quality player... but Josh has been an underrated loss going by his efficiency this season.
loss in what sense? he's got better counting stats but isn't impacting the game any more than bradley, caruso, and kcp--the guys whose minutes he'd be playing were he here. oh, and we have the 26ppg DPOY thanks to this loss as well.
