wow this guy was huge in the 4th. hit 3s in Harden's & Gordon's mugs, crucial rebound+put back, and of course the cookies on Harden at the end. sent the Rockets packing in 3 plays and it was game over. don't wanna carried away here, but that was Kobe-esque. Haven't seen a Laker shut a game down like that since #24's best days awesome game by JC, very happy for the guy
He's going to be one of the main contributors this year. Coming off the bench like Lamar used to do? Sure, he does not seem to mind right now. Just needs to keep trusting Luke right now.
BTW, call me crazy, but after carefully watching the highlights.... Clarkson actually has some of Wade's game in him. Some of his moves really remind me of young Wade so much.
Mostly that first step of his. Wade had tremendous footwork and skill on his drives like the Euro-step and pivots. Right now, Clarkson's athleticism and added strength, along with his improved controlled play, let's get to his spots to score. If JC can add that extra bit of footwork to his game, he would really be dynamic.
You're not crazy at all, I've thought of Wade a couple of times watching JC throughout the years. As Clarkson continues to bring his game to the next level, the comparison will become stronger
I think he can contend and win sixth man of the year for many seasons to come if he stays in this role...
Clarkson owned the third quarter and most of the fourth. I don't think he gives a damn whether he starts or not as long as he's on the floor when the game is on the balance. Clarkson's outside shot looks smooth...defensively he did OK. His offense is his best defense. With him and Russell together, we have two players that can create their own shot and not have to settle.
His heel/foot was out of bounds ... Don't know if refs can review it as Luke apparently complained about it
