It looked to me like the only place in the replay the injury could have occurred was when his arm was kinda being held by one of the Warriors bigs in the paint. Looked like his arm was being held by the Warriors player and the guy kinda pulled on it. If it was dislocated, yeah, not good news. We can't catch an injury break, and with Kobe being apparently brittle, here we go again indeed.
Jordan said his shoulder's been bothering him all week and he doesn't think he'll miss the season opener
I can live with the Warriors beating the hell out of us. Losing Clarkson for a longer period of time would be devastating. Please let the MRI result be a good one...
Do we have his bird rights? EDIT: Errr, nevermind, just googled it. He has to be in the league for 3 years.
We have his early Bird Rights I believe. He'll be in the same boat as Chandler Parsons was when he got that big contract offer except this time we'll probably match it.
Love Clarkson and admire the kid's toughness, but why the hell was he even playing in the pre-season finale? I thought I read he said his shoulder was hurt prior to the game and it just got aggravated worse. Just makes no sense to be risking one of your key young pieces in a meaningless game.
Because he wanted to go? If the Lakers had felt it was a serious concern, they would have held him out. They did it with every single other player who had a minor injury. They held out Bass, Huertas, Kobe, and Williams on minor maladies. Clarkson might not have said anything or he might have brushed it off as no big deal.
