That shot he hit in Bayless’ face was sweet. Also that driving layup high off the glass I believe on Embiid.
I think it was on Amir Johnson. He only played 22 minutes tonight, but was very effective offensively in that time.
Once again, JC and Randle have been the most effective players in their roles this year. JC is doing the scoring off the bench at a very high level this season. He's averaging the second most points off the bench in the NBA I heard and he's doing it at a very respectable 48% shooting and 36% on threes. 15, 3 and 3 in 23 minutes a game is pretty insane.
Jc has improved with his team play, scoring will always be his forte but if he can continue to become a facilitator as well with his scoring ...then becomes a part of our core going forward. Super 6th man of the year
JC was awesome tonight. Drove, was aggressive, made plays out of the pick & roll, continues to give us a spark off the bench, and at times being a go to scorer.
He just keeps getting it done. Outstanding game, great production this year. I don't want to give him away for nothing. He's valuable and his contract isn't bad at all for what he does. 2nd leading scorer off the bench in the NBA, playing that sixth man role to perfection. I don't want to lose him unless it's an absolute necessity in order to get PG and Lebron. He's helping us win right now.
He's playing a more complete game, especially offensively. He's in a groove. I like this JC. If he played like this all the time (along with Julius maintaining his current play), we'd be a playoff team and we wouldn't be needing such major overhaul this summer.
I don't want to diagnose Lonzo with Larry-Bird-itis, but I do believe his passing is contagious. Nor do I want to take any credit away from Clark who has been steadily working on his game over the years. This year, Clark is finding passes that he never showed signs of making in his first few. Lonzo effect? It's at least a factor. Anyhow, props to JC closing out this game, not to mention the Julius PnRs. Watching the guys grow up is fun.
Be a shame to bring in a low key 'me first' narcissist and ruin the joy of the journey watching the next Laker greats grow up together.
I grow weary of any player who is a GM as well... doing two jobs doesn't usually work out in the league
He should finish every game unless the opponent hedges the PNR ... He's putting a lot of pressure on the opponent D and his D mostly has been solid . KCP or Lonzo completing the backcourt depending on the matchup/shape of the night .
