We're just going to have to live with his occasional over dribbling until we make a move for a more legitimate back up PG. At least JC has been consistent offensively and showing flashes of play making. Much better than last year.
Last game really reminded me of his rookie year. He is really finding that balance of late of looking for his shot and finding others. That first half was textbook JC.
I'm sorry but I can't stand Jordan Clarkson. He's playing like a stubborn dribble happy crappy shot ball hog, like a horrible Kobe wannabe but probably worse. Stop shooting the damn ball when you miss4-5 in a row. Otherwise he's good. Such trash. Not too bad though
I used to like him and still do at times but just frustrated with his love for missing and dribbling the ball in front of you know, three to five defenders. Maybe he should sign up for the one on one league
Clarkson is fools gold. He'll score and make a difficult shot and you think he's good. Then he gets beat on defense, dribbles... dribbles... dribbles... dribbles and either turns it over or forces up a horrible shot. Takes us out of team offense. Players stand around wonder what he's gonna do. Frustrating as hell. He has as bad as Bogut in the 1st and continued it into the 2nd. No matter how many good plays he has, he'll kill momentum as soon as he can. I despise him and can't wait for him to be traded.
JC shot 7 for 13. I don’t think shooting is his problem. Sure he make bonehead moves sometimes. All our player do but he’s not a star and doesn’t make star money, so what do you except from a bench player? I’m fine trading him for someone but we damn better make sure we get somebody who can actually shoot because he’s a good part of our bench scoring on a nightly basis.
I would complain more if his scoring weren’t keeping our bench in games. Brewer can’t score, Hart can’t score, Bogut doesn’t score. It’s pretty much all on Randle and JC, so I don’t really blame him for trying to get buckets. He’s also one of the only players on the team that can make a three. Like cookie said in gametime, if we trade him, we better replace his scoring, same as Lou and Young last season, we missed their scoring BADLY.
JC is fine at scoring, but the Lakers need a good ball handler when he is in the game. JC shouldn’t be the primary ball handler.
100%. he's not a PG. Get the ball out of his hands. That'll cut down on the TOs. Also, he needs to have a mental clock in his head. Shoot, drive, or pass within 3 seconds. Otherwise bad things are gonna happen.
I do find good in Clarkson's scoring but his post game lament on the turnovers made me irritable and reminds me of that stupid joke... Patient: Doctor, doctor...it hurts when I do this. Doctor: Well, stop doing it! Idiot!
Problem is, who do you give the ball handling/play making to when Ball is on the bench? Ennis or Caruso? Pass. Maybe sub Randle in for Ingram early, slide Kuzma down to SF so that Ingram can have primary ball handling with the bench? This is why we still really need a legitimate back up/vet PG.
Not as our backup PG I don't. I'd rather Luke staggered Zo and BI, so that BI distributes and JC just scores. Solves Kuz/Nance/Randle/BI issue too. Zo KCP BI Kuz SloBro JC KCP BI Nance Randle JC BI Kuz Nance Randle or some variation thereof. JC should absolutely NEVER be the primary distributor. He sucks at it.
i'm with alam. he's the backup pg because we don't have a backup pg. he's the best of our terrible options.
3 things... 1.) The game has been over for a little bit now and JC is still dribbling 2.) God bless the person who invented the half court line or JC would be hopping backwards all the way into the first row on the other end of the court 3.) Pass the ball bro* *To the correct team
JC sucks as a PG. In fact, I wish they shipped his a** together with his broAngello to Nets for like a spare pair of underwear for Kuz.
