Magic setting goals for everyone can be seen as too high expectations to people but I love it. It's a challenge and if they are truly all in to developing their games, they'll meet those goals or come close to it.
Over it, he is so bad. Dribble, dribble, dribble, bad shot. Slightly improved defense, maybe, or fake hustle possibly, I don’t know. Still, not a great shooter, looks lost and disinterested with his current role, has that stink of B0ron on him and I’m tired of him. Don’t know what we could get for him in a trade, but I don’t even really care, sometimes addition by subtraction is good enough.
Rescued from midway down page 2. I think Jordan's been playing fairly solid for his roll now. Less pounding the ball tonight against Utah and some nice plays and offense.
Jackson mentioned how Clarkson talked off controlling his speed with the ball. I thought he did not force the issue tonight. Made a pair of perimeter shots...a nice and one. Was not a turnstile on defense. At least none of that over-dribbling and ill-fated passes he did against Sac.
I couldn't watch the game last night, but if it looked like the first game with Randle, I think Randle is a good thing for Jordan. Jordan with the ball in his hand is a mistake waiting to happen. Randle helps take the pressure off Jordan to create.
Teased you about not watching the game in the Nance thread. Don't be angry. Jordan had his best game last night. Very little ball pounding. Hit shots, played decent D, had a steal and is looking like the muscle added over the summer is helping, plus he said as much, to body guys on D. Plus he's working hard at it whether always effective or not.
JC played his best game in a long time, according to my memory. He's best when we don't have to rely on him controlling the ball a lot. Pair him next to Caruso and Randle who can playmake decently and someone like Kuzma, things will look better.
Hey, I may not want him here anymore, but I’m still rooting for him. The better he plays, the more he ups his trade value.
His best game overall of the pre-season and had some nice defensive moments too. Yes, he still dribbled too much at time and lost his man out of an out of pounds play that cost us a lay-up in the first half. But finally saw some life in him.
