Didn't he badly sprain his ankle at the end of the season? Might be some of what we are seeing in terms of being out of game shape, looking slow and earth bound. He's getting blocked by much smaller guys right now. Not loving that. I'm hoping by the season he looks a lot better.
This summer league action is gonna be good for his development.. Trust me European athlete like Zu will be putting work in, needs time and real NBA action. I got a feeling theyre telling him to concentrate on offense and his outside shot.
Man, I don't get it Zu. Half way through the first and it already looked like he was a step slow and forgot how to play basketball.
Zubac sounds like he's at a funeral in his post game interview, like wow he looks unhappy. That laughing, joking kid from last season is gone. Something is going on here.
Good for this to happen now if it had to happen. Maybe he was starting to believe his own press clippings. He knows now he's playing like crap. Will be getting killed on line now. Can't do anything but get him working harder and more ernnestly or all areas of his game and physical conditioning.

zu playing badly/looking slow seems to be about the only thing 100% people on this forum can agree upon...that is not good
I don't even mind him missing on the offensive end so much, because yes he has to get used to the pace. But where is all that effort on the defensive end? Last year he would be running around trying to get every rebound/block, jumping multiple times quickly. Now he just watches as players drive into the lane and he does his little half attempt at a jump.
