Love it.. With McGee or Chandler, it's hard for Teams to score on us.
With Zu.. It's hard to keep us from scoring.

If he keeps this up, good trade bait.

I have no idea who this guy is, composed, setting smart screens, blocking shots, battling for rebounds, scoring with ease. His trade value cannot get higher, excellent...

Even with all the big men we have MagRob were right not to give up on Zu, dude is still only 21 until March. Bigs rarely show much so young. Marc Gasol was 24 his first year and was an 11/7/1 guy. The flashes we saw when Zu was 19 were just that, flashes. Now let's see with Lebron out if guys can keep feeding him, keep him scoring and he should be able to be even more aggressive on the boards with LBJ out a game or two. He's even averaging 3 blocks the past 3 games. Also his .660 would qualify as best in the league of he had the playing time. To be fair to Javale though Zu's been playing 32 min avg the past 3 games and Javale is grinding out 11.8/6.7/& 2.6blks (5th in NBA) on a .626 FG% (4th in NBA) day after day on 23.5 mins allowing a fresh Tyson to come in and bat shots back out.

Also what we do with Zu is interesting because he's an expiring. We will be lucky if both Javale and Tyson return next summer I can see Tyson doing a vet min, he's made his share but I think someone's gonna throw some paper @ Javale. I also thing Zu will want to get a starting centers pay which we won't have for him so is the best thing to pump up his value for a while until he is considered somewhat nearer-on par as an asset with the other core youth which he most certainly is not yet, but 5 weeks more play like that? Then move him in a larger deal in Feb. It sure would help if meant us giving Ingram, Hart & Zu for AD instead of Ingram, Kuz, Hart & Zu. Most likely would still mean all of those.

Zu isn’t going anywhere unless it’s for AD

And it’s super awesome that he is getting to practice against two veteran seven footers in practice every day. You could not ask for a better scenario to develop a young center.

Maybe that's one of the reasons he plays better. Aside from getting consistent minutes, of course.

Keep Zubac so Davis can play his natural position at the 4...

    PG - Rondo
    SG - Svi
    SF - James
    PF - Davis
    C - Zubac

James and Co. can recruit ring chasers to round out the bench... Assume 3/4 if not all of the young core are shipped out with draft picks. Thinking Ball will not be asked for but Ingram, Hart and Kuzma will be more attractive as a group.

Actually, AD and ZU would probably play very well together.

I think we always knew what he was capable of, given the chance. Last time he showed promised in 2017, he let us down by coming into training camp out of shape. I hope he has matured and continues to work hard. Frankly, there is no justification for overconfidence.

The best part of his resurgence is that they were on national TV, especially Christmas! His value cannot be any higher, if he keeps this up he might just be a part of the young core. Tonight's game without Rondo and LeBron feeding him will be a test. I'm hoping Lonzo and Ingram feed him well

well, tbh, he's done this before and got our hopes up

    and then disappeared again

So before I get too excited and add him to our young core, I guess he needs to sustain this a little longer.

He's probably going to miss LBJ/Rondo the most out of everyone to be fair.

This right here. Rondo and Lebron have been getting him easy looks. Hopefully he keeps it going next game. Even if he doesn't score like before he can still impact the game defensively if he stays engaged. Lonzo has to make it a point of emphasis to set him up.
