I was thinking the same thing. At least he gives us something on one of the floor. Baze is giving us nothing.
That is correct. His parents are from Inglewood. Moved to Seattle but his parents brain washed him to be a Laker fan. And IT is a big Kobe fan.
Another good game for IT. Had some hustle plays. Got screwed out of a charge call and good shooting overall.
Can't take a 3 early in the shot clock and miss everything in a tight game late in the 4th. Classic problem with him is due to his defensive liabilities he has to be almost perfect on offense to make up for it and be positive overall
i really like IT, but he's just not a very useful player anymore. i hope for his sake he can parlay these offensive performances into another contract or something, but those teams would have to be seeing things i'm not.
I think he's shown he belongs in the league. I don't think he answers anything for us other than a short Monk substitute during covid. BUT if we do a 3 for 1 or 3 for 2 trade, I wouldn't hate him being at the end of the bench. Basically I'd roster him over Baze given the chance.
Super happy for him. Hope he makes a case to stick in the league awhile longer. While the Brinks truck backing up will never happen, he can still set himself up for life.
well, he was not an nba player when we had him a couple years ago. not sure why folks were expecting that a tiny scoring guard just needed a couple years off in his mid-30s to regain his mojo after a devastating injury basically ended his career.
Well, now we know who is filling in for AD in the rebounding and 3 point shooting department. Not missing a beat with AD out.
This is the most discriminatory board I've ever been on. If you are short or melanin challenged, this place is brutal.
Well, you're right. Thought he had some good looks and just missed. He'll be out of here by next week.
I am pretty confident no one thought Thomas would turn around our season or anything. Kind of goes back to my thoughts on not being doom and gloom all the time. I maintain that Thomas is an easy guy to like and he looked fine those first couple of games. Sucked last game but he literally just got back in the league. Expectations are low and rightfully so. At the end of the day, it’s up our “Big Three” to dig this team out of the ditch we are in. These guys being brought in due to COVID aren’t going to move the needle much and I think (or at least hope) everyone gets that.
His playing days are over. Other team can shoot over him at any time and then he's not a threat to close out at the 3 pt line. Woudl be shocked to see him get minutes unless a team is decimated with Covid/injuries like the Lakers
I like IT, but if he's not providing scoring on the offensive end, he's pretty much useless as a body out there.
