Keeps his dribble alive, surveys the floor, hits shooters and bigs rolling to the cup. Good court vision and awareness. Not blazing fast but gets there...long strides. Finishes with either hand with good touch. Funky a** set shot.

6-9 point? Mostly unselfish and can look over the defense. Reminds me of... Nah, ain't goin' there. :)

Seriously, the highlights look promising. Let's see it against better competition in July.

I haven't seen him play because actually in Germany people don't care too much about the German league.

I have seen him once though. I can't say too much though. He is an average athlete, solid ball handling and passing, poor shooter. Reminds me of a poor version of Lamar Odom but obviously, a very poor version.

Is he NBA material? I can't really say, haven't seen enough. But at 18, obviously a lot can change for him still. On the other hand you see what Doncic did at 18, and you wonder whether Bonga is good enough. Doncic is by far the best player in this draft. At 18, he was dominating grown men here, playing around and fooling with them even though he isn't all that quick and athletic. Maybe Bonga is a late bloomer and I'm sure he is, so this all means nothing.

What I want to say is that right now, he isn't NBA material probably. Could be a year away, could be 3 years away or could be away for a lifetime.

So 6’9 Bonga gets labeled by some as a point guard, but saying an infinitely more talented 6’9 Ingram can play point guard is blasphemous?

I think it's more that Ingram can play PG, but he shouldn't be playing it long-term. It's not his natural position.

Agreed, but I think he’s a really good fit there if by some miracle SA agrees to a Lonzo + Kuz deal. I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t want to move BI under any circumstance. I think he can be that good. He would be a nightmare for any point guard not named Ben Simmons in the entire league.

I was watching a replay on sportsnet of Mag and Peli introducing the draft picks. By Bonga’s name it said “trade pending”, so he is being traded away already?

This and moves are technically frozen until after the moratorium I believe so technically none of the trades are really "official" just yet.

He's definitely 6'9", could be 6'10". He's one of the oldest looking 18 year olds I've ever seen. :D

Yeah a real young kid, has been playing professionally for a couple years already. I saw a year or two ago and was interested. He's a legitimate 6'9" with point guard skills. Not a great ball handler or shooter, but good in the open court and has very high level vision. His height and length give him a great advantage at the guard spot although I'm not sure he has the speed/agility to match up with guards in the NBA.

He'll be at Vegas so we'll see him tomorrow hopefully.

    Cool. Thanks.

Interesting. Guess he's a project for now; G-League should help if we keep him.
