I don't profess to be some scout, but other than his size, I just don't see it.

Neat Isaac Bonga piece. I'm going to enjoy watching him develop. He may be nothing, but he's got a good heart and he's a hard worker.

Eh. Then you're not looking for them. He's a good ball handler for his size and a good passer regardless of his size. He has good vision.

He's very behind on his timing in all facets which is what makes predicting his development difficult.

He needs to shorten his dribble a lot. It's too high and he's losing the ball coming around the corner and he's also not used to the NBA physicality quite yet.

What he's got going for him is a fluidity to his size, but he's really, really raw in terms of ever becoming any sort NBA talent any time soon.

...has quick hands on D. Poked another one off an opponent for an open slam down the floor.

This guy has plenty of potential. That coast to coast dunk was awesome.

...no look feed to Zubac for a slam. Had a length of the floor pass to Wear that missed but the court vision is good. Still can be labeled a project but there's something there.

He has looked way more confortable lately. Last night he only had one of those feet moving too quickly before the rest of him travels, where he used to have like 5 per game in summer league. He played some solid defense, he can board, and that coast to coast dunk was sweet. I don’t know if he’ll ever turn into anything great, but in preseason so much more than summer league, you can see what the FO saw in him, the potential of the skills he does have with that size. I’m just glad he looks comfortable in his own body finally, because he looked like he barely knew how to run and dribble at the same time in summer league, and I’m not seeing any of that anymore. A lot of time in the G-League should do him good as well.

    Haha, right...

Also nice that he hits his free throws at a very high rate too. Has to mean he has potential to make outside shots in the future. May never be a 3 point shooter but hopefully a semblance of a mid range game.

    Good game Bonga
