This happens all the time, folks from all over the world come here with some athletic talent and enroll as a sophomore instead of a senior. In 1998 a team in Houston had three major D1 prospects, including a silky smooth guard from Puerto Rico. Well as the state tournament got under way a coach from PR was there to watch and noticed that the 19 yr old silky smooth guard who was a really a 23 yr old man. He had coached against him back in PR. Long story short he was kicked from the Tourney and lost his scholarship, still landed JuCo scholarship. Couple years later meet a "19 yr kid from east africa" who is state side looking to get discovered, well he was actually 24/25...
