Is he the perfect coach? Nope.
Do his rotations sometimes seem awkward? Yes.
Does the offense seem to be unimaginative at times? Yes.
Show me a team with James on it that didn’t rely heavily on him running things.
Did Vogel lead a Lakers Team just a little over a calendar year ago to a Championship? Yes.
The man is qualified and proven.

I honestly don’t think you even watch Westbrook on defense:

That lost the game? I bet you can pick out a bunch of clips of AD standing around just watching too, and of every other player on the team making a bad play. Show me how it's more on Russ than anybody else. You are just on this determined anti anything Russ mission. Russ isn't going anywhere man.

right. vogel can't do anything about guys just deciding to stand and watch from a spot on the perimeter on defense. i'm sure brad stevens or tyronn lue would shapeshift into the body of the defender and get them to the right spot whilst making them care, though.

Our roster lacks any defensive players aside from AD, Bradley, Reaves, and Dwight. It’s really that simple, you can’t get players to play defense that can’t.

TBD...Trez didn't play any D and I can't say that KCP and Caruso not being here is all there is to it. Lebron and Tucker played last season too.

I’ll say this: if Vogel is fired, this is 2012 and the season is effectively over. That level of scapegoating would represent a toxicity that can’t be overcome.

I think Vogel is a good coach and we should stick with him.

I did want him to pump up the staff with an offensive kind and In fairness to angry I do think he could use some improvements there.

Similarly we are very short handed and I think he is doing what can with the guys available. But I also think his rotations in certain situations have played a significant role in some of our losses.

long story short, I think the good has outweighed the bad with Frank and he deserves to at least have the full roster before fully judging him. But that’s pretty much how I feel about the whole team right now.

Really? The only players that played for him last season are Lebron, AD and Tucker. If the big two are down with it, I can't see how the other guys are supposed to have a problem with it all. Where would this toxicity be coming from? Still I believe it would take a lot of losing with a full deck for that to happen. If it does, change was in order. The head coach gets fired all the time in this league.

2012...Nash washed to be honest about it. Dwight had a bad back.Same name but the game was not the same.

Let's put a pin in this until at least March. Frank is a championship coach and has earned some leeway. The front office isn't doing him any favors and that's before injuries.

Before last night's... whatever the f*** you want to call that, we had climbed up to 12 defensively. He's getting Melo to play better D than he has in a long time, he's getting good chase-the-shooter effort from Ellington... he's getting quality effort for some historic non-defenders.

The 3rd Q issues are embarrassing. But with this group, I don't put that on him. This is the most veteran and HOF filled team in the league. He shouldn't have to hold hands and change diapers.

I'm fine with him wanting to start small vs Minny. KAT is one of the best 3 point shooters in the NBA right now. You don't want Dwight and DJ getting extended runs against him, he would've made 10 3s.

    Everybody deserves a little blame.

Jeanie & Rob, the coaching staff, all the way down to AD & LBJ who wanted to bring the worst player in in terms of fit.

This will still be a good team when they're healthy.

Can they be a championship level team?

We'll have to wait and see.

Vogel will get us into the top 10 defensively. We’ll also be a top 10 team offensively when we get healthy and some continuity. Not sure why anyone wants Vogel fired, that’s just ludicrous thinking.

No one better out there, plus winning the championship bought him some good will.

LOL! You can keep focusing on one game. You wanted proof of how terrible a defender Russ is and I gave it to you. I get it, you are a Russ fan and are willing to look the other way at all the things he does terribly. Just because you refuse to acknowledge they exist, does not mean that they don’t.

Because it’s somehow his fault that the $44 million man is not making anyone around him any better.
It’s also his fault Rob favored offense over defense this time around. Offense comes and goes...
