    One potential drama out of the way... I like his calm demeanor, positive and does not put himself above the players. Will not hesitate to bench someone if not defending out there. Handled everything with grace even with the Schoeder and Drummond scenarios.

    He’s got flaws, every coach does, but he’s the only Lakers coach in the last 30 years besides Phil to win a title here. So yeah, I’m a fan, this is a good extension, now he’s not a “lame duck coach”.

    Got along with Kidd, credited Lue for his hiring... For being a third choice, Vogel has really held himself and more. How he managed the core, the wackiness of the new players last season and the pandemic really showed something.
