I wasn't wondering about Fizdale and Gasol.

Lakers fans should only be wondering if AD will have his best year coming up and who will be Hulk Hogan during the summer. Bow wow wow.

Please tell me Brooks is an Xs and Os guy? Someone has to be an Xs and Os guy!

Edit … was typing this while posts above filled out. Sounds good? I hope.

I actually do not see how Scott Brooks would be considered a good offensive coach to be hired. His entire coaching career consisted of offenses where it was “give the ball to KD/Westbrook/Beal/Wall and get out of the way”.

We need a offensive coach where a system is implemented and can create open shots for everyone when AD/Lebron are not on the floor.

Yeah, Cranjis broke down the tape .

There isn't a lot there's to be impressed with he says. All very "meh".

    We'll see

They were top in the league in pace and possessions. They averaged the 3rd most PPG and top 5 in FGs made per game. I'd say he had them overachieving and does well with ball dominant players...Bron has the ball in his hand a whole lot. A lot of that is aided by personnel, but even with the right pieces you have to put them in position to succeed and maximize what you've got.

Not saying he's a guru, but I can clearly see how he can help. I don't think anyone else could've done better with the Wiz, but they're in the last ditch effort to shake things up and grovel at the feet of Beal before he demands to get out of town. I'd also say he's a better head coach than Kidd, so at least by that stretch, we're improving the overall quality of the bench.

He's maybe not amazing, but is probably better on the offensive end than anyone we have right now. At least the Lakers are aware of the problem. This can't continue... hoping we can use our great D to keep teams from scoring 90 is just not going to work well in today's NBA.

i sort of agree. in the games AD played, we held the suns to 99, 102, 95, and 100 (last one partial). in the two he didn't, they scored 113 and 115.

so...can we hold teams in the 90s? yes. can you win doing that? i think obviously yes. but it would be nice to score more easily.

I agree, but sometimes teams will just get hot, especially from 3, and your D can't do much in those games. It would be nice if we could score without standing around too much as we're currently doing. I'm hoping our perimeter guys can start moving better without the ball so our offense doesn't get too stagnant.

You know, the offense stumbled with those guys out but the defense was stellar and that is what Frank's skillset really is about. He needs a solid offensive voice who gets through to him and the players.

Blazers might be trying to get their hands on Hollins

Makes sense as to why there would be an open seat for Brooks.

NBA is so boring right now they have to create excitement on which ASSISTANT coaches are going where?
