Same starting lineup tonight. Why? McGee shouldn’t even be in the rotation at this point, in my opinion.

Can someone please explain why Vogel didn’t use the remaining regular season games to solidify a rotation for the playoffs? Am I missing something?

He used to be capable of adjusting his rotations. What happened?

I don't know if we can truly blame Vogel. 8 games just isn't enough for a team that has three new players coming in (Morris is still relatively new) and two other key players dropping out of the rotation. Hopefully he figures it out. This bubble hurts a team like the Lakers the most. They were hitting their stride and the fans would have elevated this team's energy. It's no excuse but it's a bumpy road that will hopefully be smooth with these next few games. Our shooting, though... Man, these guys just have to knock them down. No excuse!

Solid scheme today. Had us shutdown and blowout the white hot Blazers.

And as we were begging for him to do, he worked JR (22 min) and Dion (15 min) into the rotation.

He's got to get that Morris/Kuzma tandem more minutes. If you let DIon create when Lebron sits that will allow you to sit Jeff err Danny Green who has been horrible now for 10 games.

I like that he was flexible and gave guys more minutes. Hoping for even more Waiters moving forward

I had a brief heart attack when he subbed Lebron out and AD was not on the floor, but overall much better substitutions.

I thought McGee played really good tonight, but I was really worried before this game started.

Vogel doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings/mess up with the team chemistry ( Rondo all season long , now Javale ) but if he doesn't understand Javale ( and Dwight) can't play AT ALL against Houston , we're done

Vogel got 5 votes for coach of the year. He’s had some head scratchers but overall, Vogel really is a good coach

People complain a lot. This team is a monster defensively. We miss a lot of wide open shots. On our best day I think we can't be beat, and that's really all you can ask for.

He transformed the team defensively. The only things I don’t understand are his love for DG and the fact that he can’t find any minutes for Dion.

Honestly, this is just a team chemistry issue, and by chemistry, I think he asks Lebron and AD what they think the rotation should be and then he tries his best to do that. Don't you all think that Lebron and AD have a lot of say with what the rotations are for this team?

I will take Vogel's offensive head scratchers every now and then as long as he keeps doing his defensive schemes. There is no doubt Vogel knows how to coach defense. That is his specialty. And it is extremely effective, especially as a series goes on. I mean, when he was coaching Indiana, the Pacers were free throw makes away from probably winning one of those Heat series.

This I believe. It's likely moreso James than Davis. A least there's mutual respect between the two. We went from Walton to Vogel which is looking like traversing a chasm. If we get decent offense from Pope (likely), Green (maybe) and Caruso (probably), it will really loosen up the defense, take the pressure off James and give Davis space to operate. Of the trio, only Caruso has the ability to break down the defense off the ball. On that note, give Waiters some burn, play Morris minutes at the 4/5.

I know we're only 1 season in and still have a post season to play, but he's been a great coach for us. There has been a lot to deal with this year (new squad, expectations, coaching a Bron team, China trip, Kobe's passing, the shutdown, the bubble) and he's done a damn good job with all of it, I believe.

I'd venture to say he's the best coach we've had since Phil.

    But .... but .... 300 times .... but ..... "couldn't close" on 5 years of never-won-one-game-without Lebron-over-three-seasons Lue

He's a good coach; excels defensively, but he's an average offensive mind.

I'd like for Kidd to take a job this off-season while we upgrade his vacancy with a brainy Xs and Os guy that can help the offense...

I've been critical regarding his coaching in the bubble, but the defense really has been spectacular this year and he's reinforced those fundamentals and adjusted well once the playoffs started. We look good now and hopefully have fixed some of the shooting woes as well.
