That's a little (lot?) too conspiracy theory for me. But I agree they have not had his back and it is pretty disgusting.

lol, i just said the same in the lebron thread. i feel like guys have said good things about vogel, but the stars haven't been vocal in their defense.

they're probably going to try to bring in dudley or some other equally bad move.

Lebron has gushed over Eric and Tyrone as his HC at times. Can anyone say he's done the same with Frank?

"Coach Vogel wants his respect" -- Lebron after finals win
I would like him to be vocal, that would quiet all of the rumors

He’s the owner’s bestfriend’s husband. Jeanie saved us from her brother ruining the franchise but who’s going to save us from her doing it? Instead of finding the best people for the front office roles she gives them to her friends. You mean to tell me the Rambii are these basketball savants that should be in charge of basketball personnel?

    EDIT:
And whats with these rumor/drama hit pieces always dropping before key moments in the season? We’re a few weeks away from the trade deadline and this team is trying to improve from a mediocre .500 team

If Frank is fired (due to Lebron and AD sabotaging him with a terrible roster), I'm taking a sabbatical on the Lakers until Lebron is gone. What's worse, I could totally see them waiting until right before AD and Nunn return, then firing him so it looks like the new coach got us playing better when it was obviously getting back AD and Nunn.

Rambis is just like Arthur in this clip. Like JSM said, we should do the exact opposite of what the guy says.

yeah, nobody cares but rick carlisle took some ragtag detroit teams to much greater success than they should have had (conference finals whilst starting michael curry and chucky atkins in the backcourt, for example), but everyone credits larry brown with their title when his arrival happened to coincide with the sheed trade, which was way more lopsided than the pau trade for a similar caliber player.

jsm's post was right on. the smoke around vogel is emblematic of continuing organizational problems. it worries me.

They should bring in Kareem to work with AD. The times that I have seen AD attempt hook shots, he has looked very good.

Vogel is actually 21-17 this season ...5 of those losses were not his, they were Fizdales who went 1-5 when FV was out. He's 5-3 since he's been back. His .552 win ratio would have us sitting at 6th, nearly 5th rather than 8th in the West. Anyway, Rob stacked the roster with few forwards, tweeners, 3s and 4s it's why a Stanley Johnson can flourish because there is a huge need there. Ariza and Melo aren't doing much on D and hustle.

Vogel says there's nothing to see here...

Considering it's coming from everywhere, I don't buy that for a second. I think Frank just doesn't want to talk about it every night and that's the best way to address it and not have to say much more about it until he hits coaching free agency.

He needs to win 4 of the next 6 in order to stay. Sorry but those are the random conditions to retain his job but this obviously is subject to change

Why Melo 30 mins? Stanley only 16?

He keeps playing these slug lineups. More Stanley, Austin, Malik and Less Bradley, Ariza, Carmelo.. and don't forget Russ.

Were enough boxes checked under “fire” to fire him after this game?

I love Frank, but it’s obvious that Ariza is either done or not ready physically. And his loyalty to starting AB and benching Monk is gonna cost him his job.
