no; i've just found the complaints about coaching to be pretty silly. we have a poorly constructed team that can't win.
but coaching n the "system" they're using hasnt worked for 2 season in terms of offense, so its not all roster constraints
same guy won a title two years ago if we're playing this game. it's a lot of roster constraints. last year, nobody could throw it in the ocean. this year, we doubled down on that by trading half the roster for a guy who can't throw it in the ocean, and then tried to make up for it by signing a bunch of shooting guards that can't play together, none of whom defend. i don't see a coach who would have this team in a good position right now. i guess someone with enough job security to bench our stars' buddies, but that list is incredibly short.
all i heard during off season was how great a job Rob did with the roster with exception of Russ...just cause Vogel won a chip doesn't mean hes a good coach, Bud just won with Bucks but their fanbase still sees him as a medicore/avg coach. Ill give him credit for being solid defensive coach but whatever system hes running, it ain't working and hasnt worked....if Vogel was a legitimately good coach he would've lasted with Indy and or Orlando
Can't play Russ and THT together. Can't play Melo at C. Let's start there and Vogel will be back before long to help a little
lol what? do you know how often coaches change jobs? so only spoelstra and popovich aren't the problem in their organizations? who are the good coaches with the good systems? which one comes here and his this group humming given all that's happened? it's not budenholzer, as you just indicated. i'd love to see the list. and btw, many of us weren't pleased with the offseason. too many guards, too many olds. let eagle walk and didn't get a stretch 5 or one that could defend away from the basket. was stated then and all of it came true. then everyone got hurt and covid. but yeah, strategy.
That's a rough Christmas. Frank, what is there left to evaluate? Beg Rob to give him a 2 year deal (rest of this season + a team option next year).
Dude went all defense: true to his character if he can play Reaves/Bradley/THT/Johnson. He's going to do it
liked seeing reaves get 27 minutes. and getting 20+ each from ariza and stanley must have been manna from heaven for vogel, too. those minutes would have gone to bad defenders for most of the season.
AD was suppose to be the the stretch.....as for your preference of Dieng, hes no where to be seen this season
he's appeared in 28 games at about 10mpg. shooting 40% from three and has been a positive in all advanced metrics. at least look it up before making silly claims. he's arguably been better than either of our centers, but has certainly been better than jordan by a longshot. we should have picked him up over drummond, and we should have picked him up over jordan. anyway, this is the time for you to tell us which coach would have this team winning and why.
