    they'll do anything to win.

except box out or rotate on defense. BUT OTHER THAN THAT THEY WILL BLEED FOR THE ULTIMATE TRIUMPH!

If I'm a decent big in the NBA, I'm not interested in playing for Vogel. His system is not designed with traditional bigs in mind.

Except when he almost beat the Heat with Roy Hibbert playing at an all-star level. He's working with a DAJ and Howard that are half a decade past anything remotely resembling their prime.

Hibbert totally melted down and was out the league shortly after that one season though.

They may be past their prime, but Dwight especially is a much better option than Lebron against Javale or Ayton. That is a ridiculous strategy. Bron made Javale look unstoppable.

Meaning what …. Frank wrecked him, was Frank’s fault? Maybe Frank got the last good season out of him he had in him?

It seems FAR more likely Dwight wasn’t feeling all that good yet after his bout with Covid. Wind …. whatever.

Meaning Frank hasn't done anything of note with a big except for one year with Roy. Again...if I'm a decent big, I wouldn't want to play for Vogel. His system places the emphasis on perimeter players. Now if I was a mini AD like Grant or Wood, I wouldn't mind playing next to AD.

Perhaps...but Dwight has been getting the shaft from this staff all season IMO.

Killing me with the boxing out stuff, the Suns had 8 offensive rebounds. We had 6..considering the height and length advantage they had, that wasn't bad at all. The rotations are a different story..agreed

Best wishes to Frank. We are going to regret letting AC go for many years. Even if Reaves is great we could of had both.

I lost count how many times the Suns whipped the ball around until they found someone standing alone at the arc, no Laker within 15 feet of them...and the PHO shooter bricked an inordinate number of those "too open" shots, or the Lakers would've lost by 35 or 40. I can still hear the ONLY announcer in NBA history, Chick Hearn, call that: "HORRIBLE defense by the Lakers!"

Yes: AD is injured yet again, and still a ton of guys in protocols...but I think even if everyone were healthy, we'd have still lost. PHO never really had to shift out of 3rd into 4th gear. (4 on the floor.)

THT had a pug-fugly game, but he'll be back. OTOH, I'm ready for this incarnation of the Isaiah Thomas Era to be over. 7 more days on his contract? Wot?

Reaves can't come back soon enough...

are you arguing that we've been good at keeping folks off the offensive glass in general?

No...what I'm saying is if you continually go small against size, that you should expect to get beat on the boards. It's more to it than effort. These other players are professionals too. It seems that it's a trade off that we are willing to accept.

and how's that working out for them? the possession differential has been killing us. turnovers and opponent offensive rebounds.

and they're not going over our heads/backs, which is what would support the idea that it's a willful tradeoff. we just don't want it enough on that end of the floor.

At least these Fiz games should buy Vogel good will and show Rob that the issue is roster construction and not the head coach.

Can we please not "try out" lineups with Melo at center again. Seriously WTF.

Play Dwight it not like Nick Claxton is going to dribble around him.
