If the win (??) happens to look good from players like hitting open shots and taking care of the ball …. look the hell out Frank.
guys diving on the floor, not getting back cut on routine actions...THEY JUST NEEDED SOME FRESH PERSPECTIVE!
If you're a Laker, and you don't have at least 1 booster shot, it's like you don't even care about the fans.
We had role players who did the dirty work but we let the Eagle fly away along with the other guys. Edit: to keep this thread on track, I hope Vogel gets well soon.
I was just coming to post. I liked that quite too. Guys definitely aren’t doing the little things out there and it’s glaring.
Maybe covid took a lot out of him and they didn’t think he was ready to be able to work hard in there? No idea except maybe that. Spite benching for bringing the virus to the team from the Ill advised concert?
Ayton/McGee combined for 29 pts and 21 rebs, on 14/18 from the floor in 43 minutes. Meanwhile we played Jordan for 15 minutes. Fiz or Frank...big men..not named Anthony Davis...just aren't part of the plan it seems.
STUPID SOFT AD! oh wait. anyway, i had missed fiz's quote about the bulls game. and people keep saying it isn't about effort. the team itself keeps telling us it's about effort. and it is. the really unbelievable part is that nba teams all must agree that stars don't need to box out or value the ball. that's amazing to me. man, if you missed a boxout or committed a lazy turnover on my jv team, your a** would be off the floor no matter who you were. these are supposed to be professionals.
Really unbelievable that fundamentals are a lost art with most players that skip college. It's how a guy like Reaves can step in and contribute at a high level right away. He doesn't rely completely on his athleticism to be a player. Anyways, yes, it's pretty disappointing players even need to be told to box out and set picks. Just life long bad habits if this is your job. Just wow.
This is where Lebron needs to be a better leader and hold guys accountable. Does he lead the way and box out himself? Or no? May be a new habit for him as well, but I hope coaches call out everyone regardless of who it is. Do your job while on the court. It's a team game. And not only on offense. *sigh* this team losing to the Suns by 28? Where is the pride? That's embarrassing.
Game was more competitive than I thought. Probably because they shot way below their normal average from 3 to begin the game or else this would have been over in the first half.
