If he was 15-15 from the field and we lost, would that somehow make you feel better?

 

We can’t win at the .720 clip or whatever it is we need when he makes every damn game so hard with his goddam 3 PG lineups and 3 PGs just play too much. And his unnecessary too short rotations regular season, leaving bigger and better useful defensive talent in Wenyan and Christie with no minutes. With the latter shooting 3s probably at a 44% clip after Tuesday’s game. What he hell is he afraid of a possible mistake or 2 from them when he throws caution to the wind in that regard with Westbrook getting 30+ minutes and closing games while shooting worse than a YMCA player? Players are giving their all for him while HE is handicapping the full talent of the roster every game by not using the full amount of it available.

 

Worst defensive player in the purple and gold I have ever had the displeasure to watch in my 36 seasons of Laker Basketball.

 

I have no idea and honestly don't care LT.. regardless of who, how or when. We need to win games period, and 90% of the games we have left, are against teams that are struggling to win games. At least we are almost whole and healthy now. Whatever Darvin feels that he needs to do, in order to win games, is fine with me, as long as we win. This team believes in him, that's enough for me.

 

Ham is an awful coach for playing a black hole player so many minutes while at the same time giving Max and Wenyen zero.

 

Helped them lose 11 out of their last 12 games too. Great 3pt shooting and all.I imagine running around jacking up a bunch of 3's league wide, has something to do with there being so many mediocre teams in the NBA this year.

Slick, with EVERYONE back and healthy except for Reaves, there is no way we should have had to come from behind all damn game to win by just 1 point against the Pacers. We can’t do that every game the way he handicaps us. Reaves won’t change that either. He leaves too much talent and SIZE wasted on the bench. We don’t shoot well enough to do that!

If we trade Pat Bev and not Russell Westbrook because of a +/- metric that would be asinine

Anyone with two sets of eyes can see how erratic and damaging Westbrook is to any meaningful basketball team.

If the metric is says LeBron and Westbrook together are awesome, then that metric is flawed and not perfect. Plain and simple.

Pat Bev will have his bone headed moments but 1) he doesn't want the ball and 2) he literally does everything else that Westbrook will not (rebound, defend, set screens, hit 3's) while Westbrook is ball watching at the top.

I used to shrug Pat Bev off as an opponent. I fully believed Westbrook when he said "Pat Bev be tricking yall" a few years ago. But seeing it first hand, and I'm starting to think Westbrook is the con artist and Pat Bev is the impact player that we never realized.
