Agreed. Felt like he would struggle early with the roster and our schedule and that’s what I see. Definitely room for him to improve. Wondering out loud if he might’ve put too much energy into figuring out Russ and managing personalities in the locker room.

    We will see.

Can’t say I haven’t been disappointed offensively. It takes time to instil an offence but it feels like the team is giving up energy wise. Little movement or cutting of off ball action.

Defensively it’s never a good sign to fall apart, it also signals giving up.

I think when you spend the summer praising our team and how great they are that when the season starts it's put up or shut up time. Either these players can't execute or we don't know what the hell we are doing offensively. AD and LBJ's #s are not that far off at all and Russ is excelling which is a godsend so we need some simple role-playing and one hell of a lot better ball movement. Ham has not impressed me offensively one bit, he hasn't got Giannis to run it up every time. We need an offensive asst coach (Nash anyone?)

He's Cranjis's hero though with all the sets and plays. But agree with him that maybe Darvin needs to cut down the number so that they can start executing them better. Too much all at once for these guys?

Awful last 2 minutes. AD doubled twice and no one moved. Then we let Fox do that floater with no contest. We lost the game in those 3 straight possessions

Everyone is to blame. Agree also with the takes on why AD and other players don't lack the motivation to give it all. Ham was given a bad hand but I was also expecting better. Pelinka had little room to maneuver but the there's no reason we don't win home games to Sac or Utah.

It's getting bad and we don't have the pick. Not really sure what's the right move to do. If we don't defend, we don't win any game

We have 1 game in the next 7 days, hope it pays off because we need to get some wins before we go on our first road trip

utah is a good TEAM, they dont soley rely on a star like we do, everyone on that team contributes consistently and give it their all

point is: there's no reason we can't be a good TEAM, either. that's about culture, etc. utah's got less talent than almost every team in the league and is in first place.

    maybe we're not disagreeing?

in another thread, there was a clip of the spurs moving bodies and the ball on offense for 20 seconds until something broke loose. none of that was predicated on talent. it was will and commitment. absolutely no reason why this team couldn't have that. honestly, i felt like i saw some of that for the first 7-8 games of the year. the wheels just completely fell off the past few games.

for example, if we defend sac like we did early in the year, that's an easy win. same personnel.

i honestly didn't think it was good defense in beginning, players starting to build rhythm now, we saw gs brick alot of open shot against us

agree on gs; i thought we were defending better early. maybe the scouts figured us out and ham didn't have anything else in the bag. or maybe guys just quit. i'm betting on the latter. same stuff happened last year.

and again, maybe we're not disagreeing: if our big dogs can't lead and not quit, they need to go, too. for the record, i don't think AD has quit yet, and i did think he came out lazy last year.

i agree with yr take that theres no 1 trade that is going to save this season, team just lacks so much talent

    I think we’d look much better with continuity. We have so many places and not enough time to instil them properly. That means coaching staff and some continuity with players. I want these guys back;

    Lebron
    AD
    Reaves
    Christie
    Walker
    Brown Jr

I’m undecided on Gabriel, JTA, Bryant, Westbrook (at 10m?).

Which means Bev and Nunn need to be traded for a peice and hopefully we can sign 1-2 additional pieces in the off-season like Turner.

I do believe in Ham still. Just disappointed in general about how this season has gone.

Does that mean we’re playing good D contesting shots, but dudes just aren’t missing? Noticed that with Fox the other night.

i know the season's over and all, but once again, everything broke exactly wrong for us at every turn. it's almost comical at this point. i mean, lebron goes down right when we get some winnable games at home? our shooters come alive in games we probably can't take but can't hit the broad side of a barn in games we can. it's unbelievable.

This season has been a joke, we’re shooting 10% below our player’s 3pt career average, our defence is forcing bad shots and the other team can’t miss and once again we’ve been hit by the injury bug.

If we hit our averages we’d have won an additional 2-3 games. And 3-10 is 6-7 and we aren’t looking so bad. Instead we’re wondering if we should blow the whole thing up.

Nit pick: Gabriel, Ryan, AR, Christie, and Russ is a tank a thon lineup. Don't do that.

More importantly: never play Nunn again. If everyone is hurt and you only have 4 other players who can lace them up. Forfeit the game instead of putting Nunn on a NBA court. He's the worst player on any roster any night.

Words can not express how much I despise that kind of talk. "I got your back, Coach". Da hell? Weren't you having his back before?

These mfers will be the end of me.

well, considering vogel's gone because they didn't have his back, i'd say it's important.
