if so, we need to start shipping out "stars" then. He's not going anywhere, so they better take a look in the mirror and make it work.
Poor guy. I would have liked to have him when the kids were here. I’m sure he would have done better than Luke did. This was a lose lose situation from the start.
setting the man up for failure like he's rotten beef or something. He's not beef, he's related to bacon man! And bacon is good stuff, so Ham is ok in my book. things seem better when you see bacon right?
I'm going to bring this up again even though it didn't go over well the first time. I like a lot of what Ham is doing but his line ups are perplexing much of the time to me. As well as Russ is playing I keep him at sixth man for fear of messing that up but give him heavy minutes. Anytime I do not have Russ on the floor with AD and Lebron I put Matt out there. This is why. He brings something to the table that no other Laker does. The league perceives him to be a deadly three point shooter with a very quick release, even though it remains to be seen if that is true. When he is in they don't just hedge his way but glue someone to him. Opens the floor up for AD and for Lebron and others to drive. It doesn't really matter if Matt even gets a shot off as long as he has a defender pulled out. He does have to play defense though which he can. He and the rest of the team took defense off against Utah. I know some feel he has not paid his dues or it might make someone else mad due to the pecking order but I can't worry about that. I want to win games. It isn't permanent unless he starts playing really well. Lebron starts hitting a few or someone else becomes a three point threat, or we make a trade then change up but for now I would go with what we got. AD, Lebron, Troy, Austin and Matt. I like Lonnie and Wenyen so I'm not mad about either starting. Kendrick and Pat though just need to rest up awhile. Wenyen should keep getting good minutes.
lol, they just punted this one. honestly says a lot about the internal feelings of the team, imo. this was a winnable game to me, despite everything.
Honestly, I thought they could have won this one without Lebron cause he's been poor offensively and Russ has been on a bit of a tear, but man, the defense was just awful. It seems every team in the nba has guys that can hit threes off the dribble with ease but we can't even hit wide open ones??
they couldn't beat utah at hm with bron, why would you think theyd win in utah w/o bron?.....and another gm with a horrible 3rd qtr, Vogel all over again
This is eerily similar to last season. I will have to admit I am surprised at the lack of effort and atrocious defense. Really bad basketball from any angle I try to look at it.
It’s almost like keeping the main reason we sucked last season on the team has lead to us also sucking this season. Super strange. I feel bad for Ham honestly, gotta be hard to be a first year coach handed this mess.
