I always save Shaq for the best laughs.

    :Shaqlaughing 2:

…. and wasn’t teflon Doc chiding the Lakers a few weeks ago for letting that clown go. Just look at that photo of those two now running the show. Yeah good luck Giannis …. BTW how’s Dame’s defense this year, another year older. Say HI to Jrue tonight when the C Bags hand you your 3rd straight loss.

    Love it!

Typically when a coach is on the hot seat and their lead assistant has any sort of HC experience, they're in the mix. Vegas likes the odds of Nash giving coaching another try over Darvin sliding over one chair

It's not going to happen. They can't fire Rivers as it would be illogical. He states emphatically he's NEVER underachieved.

    It's actually 1-6
    Giannis Dame
    31.0 PPG 26.2 PPG
    12.3 RPG 5.0 RPG
    6.3 APG 6.7 APG
    63.3% FG 3.7 3PM

Their 1-6 record so far is the worst start to a season in either of their careers

But how many minutes does TP average? That's the IMPORTANT question.

Frick and Frack .... Rivers and Ham. Just curious for those that follow other teams including the Sixers ..... is there anyone on the roster, like we had with Rui, who should be starting in place of Prince and getting the 30+ minutes each game, with him coming off the bench in the 20 minute range? Or, being fair about it, is he the best option?

i'd say no. i suppose they could start trent and middleton at sg/sf, but i'm not sure trent is better than prince. they just don't have a lot of depth. connaughton was a bad bet, middleton isn't who he was, and there may be signs that lopez is slowing down.

i'd watch them for a blow up. i wonder how cheap we could get lopez given what i just said above...

Bucks just lost sixth consecutive games.
Doc Rivers confident Bucks will make playoffs: 'Numbers are so silly sometimes'
    2024 November 04 23:31

After a rough 1-6 start, Bucks coach Doc Rivers dismissed concerns about playoff odds, calling early-season stats "silly numbers."

NBA reporter Mike Vorkunov noted that since 1970, only 12 out of 150 NBA teams that started 1-6 or worse managed to make the playoffs, with five of those teams reaching the postseason despite a losing record. None of those teams won more than 47 games, leaving the Bucks with a steep challenge ahead

Rivers is either naive or just doesn't care what about to happen to his coach career in Milwaukee

they're in the east, where several teams are tanking and only two teams are currently over .500. we'd be beasts over there. they should make the playoffs.

For Lillard when he played in Portland maximum winning streak was 13 games in the 2017-18 season and 9 of these they played at home.

In the history of the NBA no team made playoffs after the start of 2-7 or worse. Bucks 2-8, Philadelphia 1-7.
Well one exemption when pimple took Lakers to the playoffs through the play-in 2 years ago when Lakers started 2-10

they have the wisdom of ham, who's been there before!

seriously, though--the east is so weak that they can start 4-20 and still make the play-in and be a threat to the (non-boston) 2-seed.

it's going to be a weird year over there.
