that is good news, now let's just hope they don't rush to appoint another rookie coach, instead of waiting for the chips to fall and the playoffs to end.

 

ham may go on to some success elsewhere, but i've seen enough here. he seems like a good dude, but you gotta produce here. he made choices that could have been second-guessed in the moment by people with moderate hoops acumen.

he is not a good coach. No matter the team. No idea how to adjust, motivate, or not make excuses for why his teams stink when they shouldn’t.

 

yeah, injuries included, we still underperformed. i didn't feel the same way about vogel. i thought he lost the locker room (as did ham, btw), but i'm not sure we underperformed. my god, just look at russ out there right now. imagine having that guy making 50 million, fussing about his touches/minutes/prestige/whatever and being expected to win any game against anyone. ham only had to deal with it for half a season, and it aged him 30 years.

I did a search trying to see how hot it is under Vogel’s seat and the top article in the results was saying there’s heat of course, but from reading a bunch of it my gut guess is they will bring him back.

 

Ham will be lucky to get a High School Coaching job after taking shots at his players and taking ZERO accountability for any of his mistakes.
