Watched the game? I was in the game thread. You are aware that I said that, Jarred was the best part of that trade, and folks around here was going to love him, the day we got him?

H-Town hustle played 41 minutes LT, I don't understand what's the point, you are trying to make. We scored 144pts dude. And yeah I still think that Reaves should come off the bench.

Lakers ride last season’s starting group to win over Warriors. Is this the breakthrough?

I mean..what is the argument? Prince shouldn't have played at all or something?

I'm a bit confused, great game, great win on the road. And people are still complaining about Prince? WTF

Because you come back in here literally downplaying what Vando did tonight and still are honking sending Reaves back to the bench and again f****** up the chemistry and IMPACT he and DLO have as starters on the entire offense just to keep Prince in the starting lineup …. when now we have a perfectly capable backup PG in Mays that can be used off the bench as needed. We scored a bunch of points BECAUSE of DLO and AR together again as starters, just like Showtime busted out again for real against the Bulls two games ago. You are out of your ever loving mind if you prefer Prince and DLO instead … in order to start Vanderbilt.

And he was being deployed against Steph Curry. I don't care if we won by 100, that's stupidity.

You don’t even have ANY shame playing an “illiterate” with zero comprehension of others’ thoughts and what has actually been written here …. to stick with really poor takes. Have some pride Man. Who here have you ever read say Taurean Prince should NOT play … he’s a bad player?

    Besides Zen?

Complaint is that, ONCE AGAIN, on-court production shows that Vando should start and Prince shouldn't. We're being held back by that decision and can grab more wins if we do what everyone is seeing it works

Davis/James/Vanderbilt/Reaves/Russell is +34 net rating per 100 possessions. They have now played 30 minutes and it is the 7th most used lineup for the Lakers. On the other hand, Davis/James/Prince/Reaves/Russell is the most used lineup with 211 minutes played. That lineup has a -0.9 net rating per 100 possessions.

Nah. You just read what you want to into what I said. I said that Vanderbilt and Reddish should start. I think Reaves is playing too many minutes. With Cam out, I still think Jarred should start. But with Prince. I keep saying that Austin, will still play more than either Cam, Reddish or Vanderbilt.

Now that's to be construed as downplaying Vanderbilt? My local HS kid, that I was hyping around here, when he was still in Minnesota? TF?

Austin was dead on his feet at times out there last night, that could have cost us the game. Austin had come off the bench, for most of his career, he's at his best in 30min or less IMO.

This is a weird ,fake a** argument, to me. SMH

There's really only so many ways to show the same data.

    Fake news though.

They should both start IMO, and Reddish should replace Prince when he gets back. That's my position and I stand on it. It's more important, who is getting the heavy minutes, than who technically started the game. But Cam and Jarred gives a different type of boost to start halves, I think that's the best look for this group.

It's not when we are 14-4 when leading the 1st quarter. 10-19 when we don't. Lineup matters

But yes, the point is Vando playing MORE than Prince AND in the lineup. That's how we can start to turn this around

Weakest most irrelevant sauce ever supporting really poor observation ignoring the VALUE of the AD, LeBron, DLO and AR lineup which Vando complements and
ALLOWS to happen and Prince does NOT. Austin’s minutes can be adjusted/limited as a starter too just like anyone else if your Boy had a clue how to use the talent on this roster. IMO pathetic arguments!

Yeah..and small sample size isn't, exactly an irrelevant statement. What was that 5's numbers against Denver? My point is that without Shroeder, or any real backup PG, that lineup should be tweaked. You have your 3 best facilitators playing at the same time for 35 plus minutes, is not a good look imo.

Mays died too? Ham rotates DLO and AR in and out of the starting lineup and most definitely could give AR and DLO too for that matter more of a breather utilizing Mays if it was needed, in certain situations. I have yet to see the dude do anything that looks like he’s going to single handedly lose games for us with limited minutes here and there.

So we are 14-4, because we started that lineup? No.

Vanderbilt did play a lot more than Prince, and we went to double overtime, that's not some kind of a slam dunk evidence. I enjoyed the win, exciting game, on to the next one, but the lineups are still in need of tweaks IMO.
