What's the problem? The Lakers are avg 126pts and shooting 42/94 45% from 3, in the last 3 games.

Once again I’m befuddled by the starting lineup, this time with Rui instead of Cam. It just doesn’t make sense. It also doesn’t help. Yet again we were down double digits in the first quarter. We had only 13 points with 3 1/2 minutes left in the quarter. It’s just not effective on either end.

The image that caught my attention early with that lineup, and I think Bill and /or Stu had just brought up the point ….. was if LeBron in the half court was to be his most effective it would be somewhere in the post area, not handling the ball. Who was going to do that. And then boom there was Rui up top trying to pretend he was AR or DLO.

    :Jeanie Srsly:

Get AR back in the starting lineup for ONE of Cam, Vando or Rui the sooner the better. And you’re still “big” He’s near 6’6” for crissakes and is the connector extraordinaire on the team. Worries over his handle if at all any more are overblown. It’s getting better and is crazy good often with the footwork and jukes he combines with it. He deserves that starting spot back more than DLO. This is stoopid!!

Is there just maybe a problem with your starting group when you have to dig yourself out of a hole against Charlotte?

Max and Wood producing creates more questions than answers.

Outside of AD and Bron is there a single player you guys don't have a question with their minutes or how they're being used?

This is a poor recap of his comments but before the game Ham mentioned using games as a figuring out period and way to get things on tape regarding lineup data because teams don't really practice in season much any more. Oh gee if only you had a training camp or pre-season to get a look at those things.

Meh. Austin was in the game after 3min. We have subbed a guy in within the first 4 min or less, since we benched D'Angelo. This lineup blah, blah rant stuff is over the top. Looks like it's actually working to me.

You're in a vast minority and leaves me to question what you're watching other than the box score.

We were down by 7 with just under 3 minutes left in the first. Offense got off to a slow start BECAUSE OF THE LINEUP. It took just under 8 minutes for us to put to 15 points. The group is flawed. There's too much offensive talent on the team to stagger the lineups and rotations in this manner.

No. It's called context. 133 against a truly putrid team isn't banner worthy.

Wizards hung 132 on them. Nets 128. Knicks 129.

    Moving backwards ...

Charlotte has played 6 teams in the West, (Hou, Dall, Minn, Den, Clip, NO) 5 of them are ahead of us in the standings, and we are the only one to score 133pts. That's some more context.

Now here is where I question what game you were watching.

The problem in the 1st quarter, was that Lebron just stunk, he's been in a mini funk lately. AD was stumbling and bumbling, for a minute too. It wasn't the offense, they had good looks. The quarter turned when Rui came back in, after we took Lebron out.

Yeah Reaves and D'Angelo came in
a little later than I thought, but we went deeper into the hole with them, until Ham pulled Lebron and brought Rui back.

We'll see in the next few games, but again, the lineup stuff is a red herring. IMO. The offense is getting our scorers the ball and shots, the 3pt shooting has improved, and the scoring is up.

Frankly if Lebron was his normal self right now, this offense would be looking outstanding.

A 39 year old Bron is pacing himself for the micro and macro each night. Calculating what he needs to do to be the best version of himself in the 4th and how to have sufficient juice for the post-season. You're not getting Bron going full tilt for a Charlotte first quarter in December. Everyone has also said how dog tired they are from this December travel. They're all counting down the days to January's home stand. The answer to that IS NOT point guard Bron as we approach the half way point of the season.

If Bron was in a funk and AD was "stumbling and bumbling" wouldn't it make sense to have another creator out there to clean up and organize the offense? AD is not a point center and shouldn't be tasked with that chore.

We have the talent to not have to rely on a 39 year old Bron to keep the offense afloat in December. They're not being utilized in a way that maximizes 75% of them.

Such common sense and great replies. But they will just be blown off and NOT debunked or even addressed.

No we don't..we absolutely need a 39 year old Lebron, that's why he's getting paid 50 million dollars, he's not the normal human being. He just had a rough two games, it wasn't about anyone else.

That's cool, and yeah players stumble and bumblesometimes early in games. Role players and superstars, it happens. You don't panic and just start yanking them for it, right away, basketball is a 4 quarter game.

This is an exaggerated bunch of made up stuff to complain about. PG Lebron is definitely not overtaking himself, in 5 minutes or something. Actually I like him going to AD early , I thought we had two many guys, with the green light, running around jacking up perimeter shots, AD barely touched the ball a lot early in games.

The numbers are what they are dude, the offense is on the upswing, been trending up for a minute now. Perhaps Ham, actually has an idea of where he's going?

The offense damn sure, hasn't been this train wreck, as it's being alluded to IMO. It seems like some people are more concerned, with WHO does what. IDGAF about that, just get it done.
