Not sure it would be our best solution obviously, as playing DLO and AR as starters wasn’t working well, and we haven’t had Gabe or JHS (either ready yet or healthy) …. to run the point off the bench. But now that Vando is mostly back to speed and AVAILABLE again, D’Angelo in his kind of frustration the other day along with the remarks from LeBron, AD, AR and Rui …. maybe had a point. THAT starting lineup that was working so well after the trade deadline and much of the playoffs ….. HASN’T yet even been TRIED by Ham. LeBron, AD, Vando, DLO and AR. WTF not?

Because it’s the correct solution. Ham has literally tried every combination BESIDES the one that has proven to actually work!!!

Yeah Lebron was missing a bunch of layups and Rui couldn't buy an open three

After they would lose to Charlotte that even our championship teams with Kobe and Shaq usually had some trouble..

yeah, he kind of out-thought himself there, i guess. vando comes back, just put him back with the starters and rotate in ways that you won. i get that there's no schroder, but that's a separate issue.

Because Lebron, Austin and D'Angelo got worked on defense a lot, especially in the playoffs, we overcame that, because Austin and D'Angelo were still knocking down shots. The defense has still been weak this season, but D'Angelo and Austin weren't as effective on offense earlier this season. It looks like Darvin has lost patience with D'Angelo's inconsistent offense, because as D'Angelo says....defense isn't his thing.

Yeah but making up for some of that weakness on D with DLO and AR together and seems like it “more” deserves at least a chance again with DLO legitimately trying harder and being somewhat better on D this year …. than saddling LeBron and AD with TWO bonafide non threats from deep, or even “much” on offense period, in Cam AND Vando, and clogging everything up.

Yeah but seriously..if Lebron and Rui are doing thier thing as expected, that lineup wasn't a problem. Frankly..Lebron and AD haven't had any issues, getting good looks in these last two games at all.

So..I wouldn't be mad, if we continued using this new line up TBH. OKC and Boston are two of the highest scoring teams in the League. That's a challenging start, when you are implementing a new, more defensive minded starting 5.

I'd like to see this idea given some more time, it has some intriguing possibilities, the bench is potentially amazing. Reddish and Vanderbilt only played 20mins, I think folks are overreacting.

Lol..Ham is right.. Cam and Jarred have to attack more in their limited minutes

BUT also.. hit your damn shots Rui. Play some damn better D..D'Angelo and Austin, and hit your shots too.

We got swept against Denver. that playoffs lineup wasn't perfect. Dennis avg more minutes the D'Angelo against Denver. There was room for tweaks to be made.

It's funny that there is this big bruha about the offense, when we've actually gotten a lot of great looks, in these last two games. We just shot better against OKC. The 3pt shooting has definitely improved in the last two games tho. We are 29/64..that's 45% with volume. That is excellent

you sound like ham, if said player need to do this n that, why not practice it? they're not doing those things probably cause Ham isn't having them practice it and that "players dont know their role" is pretty big issue....okc win wasnt due to lineup change, it wad Bron being super efficient and hitting his 3s, def was still lacking as okc almost came back.....Ham hasnt figured out s***, this team loses 1st n 3rd qtr on a consistent basis vs just about every single team they faced this yr

Ham better figure it out or he will be on another bench before the end of the year.

My concern remains that we will go get someone like Doc Rivers.

Meh..Practice what? Not getting beat on D? D'Angelo, Rui and Austin got beat on D a lot during last season, and throughout the playoffs, they made it up by their scoring.

Dangelo has had plenty of opportunity this season to get right, we moved Austin to the bench, and the team responded well except that he was still inconsistent. So shut up and play better, he's not above being benched.

Rui has been out a lot, I think he's playing better defensively lately and he should have zero to complain about presently.

I have my gripes with Ham but I don’t think we should can him without a guy lined up to replace him who is a clear improvement.

I was underwhelmed by our options during the last coaching hunt and expect similar if we decide to go that route again.

We were 5 games under 500 this time last season. We're going to be ok.

"enjoy the journey" person never watched this team play during the regular season

Please fast forward to the playoffs and hopefully we have some decent games to watch.

The rest is pure frustrating garbage.

This new lineup isn't going to work. Boston destroyed us in the first quarter last game. You have too many good players not to include them with the starters. Dlo or Reaves needs to start. Vando could start instead of Prince but at this point Vando is so limited with his heel pain and his minute restriction it makes no sense for him to start really. He only plays 15-18 minutes per game. Insert him at important points where you need his defense and with the right matchups. I didn't like the Dlo to the bench move personally. But he or Reaves need to start.
