Head Coach Discussion: Canned Ham, Who Is Our New Coach?

i think it's rare to get that open of a corner three for anyone to potentially win a game. yes, yes, i get that cam's a bad shooter, but imo, miami got pretty lucky there. i wouldn't be happy if we gave up that shot, even to a bad shooter.

 

Or one could do what "one" always does and take a shot at LeBron.

Play was designed for the defender to help off of the corners... closer and easier to recover. So if you HAVE to HAVE Cam on the floor because you have a wierd fetish, swap Prince and Cam. The help comes either from AR in the right corner or Prince in the left one.

Or even f***ing better -- put Wood in the corner and make Cam do that dumb little screen instead.

I don't know how a "coach" can be this dumb.

 

Because you have never been a coach.

 

We need to find a defensive minded coach that will hold players accountable. Hopefully he will be good at inspiring players as well.

Where are all the Ham's apologist at? A full offseason, a full training camp, a full preseason. The new excuse is the players are not defensive minded enough.

I get that no coach can hold LeBron accountable and that makes it hypocritical to do so with the others but something has to change. Something is terribly wrong when even a guy like Austin isn't buying in.

 

Austin isn't playing well..it's not a matter of buying into anything. D'Angelo either..no coach is going to turn them into better than average defenders. The offense hasn't been there consistently so far.

 

Austin has been sucking but I do think it is more than that. Pretty much the entire team has a I don't give a ..... attitude.

 

I have run out of excuses for Ham, and I really didn't want to.

I'd say he's on the clock regardless of how many years they signed him for. Lebron has a limited window, and we have the talent to compete even when short-handed.

NONE of this is acceptable. Zilch. Ham is not getting it down right now.
