we should have seen progress in the pre-season. Felt like the first game of the preseason each time to me, but sometimes I feel hypercritical.

I look at it this way. From the start of camp a coach has to value every second. Your right LT, there isn't much time. I believe everytime they scrimmage or play a preseason game, it needs to be intense and at regular season speed. Better off playing five game speed minutes than half-a$$ing through 3 quarters. Hams comments to me are a good sign he is learning as a coach he can't be one of the guys.

Meh..I think health is more important than anything else. I saw an interview with Kevin McHale last season, where he said that modern training camps, are absolutely nothing like they were back in the day. He said that none of these teams really get after it much, with the hard core scrimmages, that all these teams today are mostly doing skill, shell drills, low contact stuff etc

It's just interesting, how players and coaches tend to view a lot of things, differently than fans(that's actually understandable), analysts, or even former players and coaches. Hell...teammates are prone to see things differently too.

Draymond has done his share of talking about chemistry issues last season on that team, but Klay has another viewpoint on the subject. Those guys have been playing together for years.

    https://www.si.com/nba/warriors/new...rees-with-draymond-greens-chemistry-statement

Sports mirror real life in a lot of ways...there are multiple perspectives, strategies, philosophies, etc that can lead you to the same destination. You can't win, if you aren't able to play though, so injuries remain the key most important factor IMO.

Hmmm. Is that what he said after the game? I'm sure he was asked. Or is this another selective edited post..like the D'Angelo/Lebron thing floating around last week?

Hmm, the video almost makes it look like he was actually drawing something for Reddish to cut inside and the person on the opposite corner to run to that spot?

It was probably a situational play depending on how the defense would react to Lebron’s drive.

Regardless, it’s a massive mistake to draw any play that has Reddish in that spot that would inevitably be in prime position to get a kick out from Lebron’s drive

I agree that health is key but playing hard and smart is right up there and we as a unit aren't doing either. Some guys are but we got issues.

Idk man we do have a lot of guys out that were expected to play a lot..I don't consider a lack of effort, to have anything to do with this particular game.

he drew it to kickout to that corner, Cam was in that corner.....or was Cam a dummy and it shouldve been someone else in said corner? i guess unless clearly stated it wasnt for Cam? but then again you did expect a 15% 3pt shooter to make that shot

Hell yeah..I expect whoever was in that spot, to knock down that shot. He doesn't shoot 15% for his career.

It's a make or miss league, he missed. I guess by your logic, he shouldn't be allowed to attempt another 3 all season.

Everyone is missing the point. The problem is not that he drew that play. Problem is that he is an idiot that couldn't understand that you need to match your personnel to the play.

On the floor were Bron, AR, Cam, Prince and Wood. And yes, the play was designed for Cam, don't let anyone b******* you.

    1. Cam starts in that corner.

    2. Cam swirls around Wood semi-block and returns to the same corner.

    3. And now, there is no other action going on that didn't work. That swirl was f***ing it.

    4. Bron receives the ball at the top of the key and drives

    5. Noone moves, Bron sends the ball to the corner to Cam

You are going to tell me that it wasn't a better option to have any one of these, Prince, AR or Wood be in that same mfing corner? If you do, piss the f off.

Soo.. he specifically drew up that last play, in order for Cam Reddish, to take that last shot? He picked Cam out of everyone else, surprise slick sneak move huh? Interesting
