Head Coach Discussion: Canned Ham, Who Is Our New Coach?

He was actually looking to his bench. Was he asking them if he should use the challenge? Come on man, you are the Head Coach- just make the call.
Rotations were better tonight except for pouring ice all over Beasley.

 

He had to fight his instinct to put Denis on him!! Magic called him and told him NOT to be a dunce and put Schroder on KAT!!

 

Through all that has gone on Coach Ham's confidence never seems to have waivered. Very important for a coach.

 

I've criticized Ham for his rotations, so it's only fair to give him credit when due. Per the Rui thread, the coaching staff has been emphasizing and working on defense with him, and it really shows. The new Rui is fantastic, hope he keeps it up. Good job Rui, good job Ham and staff.

Agreed. Nice to be able to come in here and give Coach Ham praise. Everything is coming together for the Laker Express at the right time. Still time for the naysayers to jump on board!! Lakers over the Bucks in six. Yes, I'm jumping the gun. We are that good.

We're killing it with the post deadline roster considering Bron's been out until recently, AD has been a monster and we have a deep and talented roster that is FUN again to watch play .... and your sig still reads "Anything To Get Rid Of Everyone." Smell the Roses and actually employ some of Phil's Zen and maybe enjoy Laker life for awhile?

If you get rid of everyone but Reaves and start over there will be NO championship for another decade maybe, if that .... who knows? We have legitimate chances now going forward. As always, predicated on health of key players, same as EVERY other team.

 

Ham has been better, but his true test will be his adjustments in the playoffs.
I still don’t agree with benching Lonnie instead of Beas, but we’ll see how it plays out.

I dont understand how we're down 20 with less than 5 minutes left and all the starters still in there. Ham is incapable of making decisions. Just concede and rest our guys.

Wanted to see how they responded in a playoff setting? No lead in safe in the NBA. Had our shooters had anything to offer up in the second half, they could've even made a serious run in those final 70 seconds or so.
