i think playoff performances get more weight. kobe had a couple of 45/15/7 type games against SA and SAC during the height of those rivalries. those were huge. lebron in that game 6 against det in...was it 2007? that was nuts. jordan's 60 pointer against boston (50 point games are rare in the playoffs, much less 60). still, though, rookie magic FTW.
Side note to Johnson's improbable Game 6 Finals performance was Jamaal Wilkes scoring 37 points along side him.
These are the games that get us hooked and keep us coming back for more. Got to love great basketball. Team performance and individual performances.
Lebron in 07 was the only time I ever enjoyed a Lebron James win. I'd go with Kobe's 62 or even together Kobe's 4 50+ games in 06-07, we needed every point to keep up the hunt for the playoffs. That was the year LUuuuukkkkkkkeeee was our 2nd best player lol.
