I agree that these could be considered growing pains, but we shouldn't stand for them either. Repeating the same problems over and over again is something I cannot stand and for the kids, they've absolutely got to figure it out. I hope they do.

Are the players too old for spankings? Too young? Serious question. Asking for a friend.

WTF? Change the subject like you always do. I think by start of next season too that Zu beats him out. Doesn't address the point I was making with you whining why are we getting worse compared to earlier in the season. B e c a u s e we are TANKING.

I agree these habits aren't tolerable for long. I just want at least a year under their belt with this staff and core before I think this is worse than normal growing pains.

I'm fine with that, but watching them all year long making the same mistakes, it's been over 60 games. At some point young guys are supposed to put it together and figure it out at least for a little stretch. The rallying cry for the Lakers beat team has been "look at what Durant and Westbrook did their first year together!" but even those guys went on a run to close the year where they seemed to figure something out.

I'm still waiting for the "whoa" moment from them as a group and instead we keep getting a group that's sleep walking through games. It's why if we moved a few of them for an impact player I wouldn't mind at all. Shake them up and show them that this is a job, a dream job for so many people. There's no time for lackadaisical nonsense. They're young enough to think their career is going to last forever and being a Laker is a given. I can't stand that sort of entitlement. I know it's a kid thing, but I wonder what it would take for them to actually get that there has to be a sense of urgency here.

Again. Not the f****** point I made. Our playing roster is overmatched every night now. Even Huertas could run the offense at times. Lou's 18 points a game are gone, and Mosgov still does some things better than Zu and is stronger than Zu demonstrates sometimes. It's pointless because you way too frequently shift and twist and take the discussion away from the point being made. You said Luke must see something in Moz that he is playing him zero minutes now. Yeah he sees the FO is tanking and now is the time to see what all the young guys have and the D leaguers have that are left after the playoffs became impossible. That's it. You can't debate that. Moz would not be seeing zero minutes and Lou and Calderon wouldn't be gone otherwise unless they knew they were upgrading for the playoff run. Ennis????

I have a project that will be released "soon"

I'd love the support when it kicks off, but of course the members here get the hook up.

We weren't tanking when he was benched, at the time he was benched we were still matheticaly in the running for the 8 spot. Moz presence wouldnt have prevented some of these terrible gms, matter of fact wasnt moz starting when we lost by 40 something to dall?

I don't work with NBA level players by any means but I do work with young players a lot. They are very dependent on emotions. I don't like it anymore than most of you but I can explain it somewhat. Most of the time they will play hard while they think they have a chance of winning. They get a little behind and start to shut down. Someone makes a basket or two and all the sudden they are playing crazy. Things go wrong they slow down again. Crazy cycle. There are always exceptions like Kobe or a Westbrook but they haven't matured enough to handle the constant ebb and flow of a game. In games like today against the Kings you can tell they know what to do, kudos to Luke, because in spurts they do it. I get frustrated and rant, vent and rage but we do have talented players that will get better and learn how to adjust to the ups and downs of the game. That is where that one really great player they can lean on during the down parts of the game is so important. We just don't have that person or he hasn't developed yet. Good news is we do have some very talented players with bright futures if they don't cause us all to have coronary issues first...lol We are all on the same team and soon we will have better days.

thought it was interesting that luke re-inserted randle and russell late in the blowout last night. learning experience? making a point? i thought the brewer/ennis/trob lineup started actually hustling and luke told russell and randle to think about attempting this if they want to keep playing big minutes. just a theory.

Awesome! Love that! Wonder who won and if Luke brought out his collector's sandpaper surface NBA ball?
