randle needs to play hard all the damn time, he plays like hes damn entitled and doesnt try unless he feels like it. todays game he decides to finally work hard towards the end of the game. luke should of kept nance or black at the end of the game.

Maybe it's just me but I'm seeing Julius actually starting to play some more aggressive Metta like man to man D out there. I thought he tried hard pretty much the whole game? Maybe I missed some plays off?

Yeah it's not just effort ... He's fine containing perimeter guys on switches but when he's soft hedging the PNR , his awareness and position on the court are off

That 3 guard line up was rather interesting.

That was a good game last night even thou they lost it was close and they gave a strong effort. They look so much more competitive then last year. I'm Excited about Luke he's young and very smart.

Luke's sending the right messages in his post-game interviews. I didn't like Luke's lineup tinkering in the last 6 minutes of the game. We were playing nice with Lou, Clarkson, Russell and some others and Luke decides to bring in Nick Young and Mozgov....our small lineup was doing fine.

Not worried about this loss at all. Bad shooting, road game, played good defense, just missed shots. We'll hit those shots in most games. Now our offense still looks really ugly - we're still quick to take shots early in the shot clock, but they aren't great shots all the time. Need more ball movement and more penetration.

I don't know if Luke's trying to force Randle to learn how to be a small ball center, but it's not working so far and it's been killing us inside.

Nance should be our small ball center

Has Luke considered defending the pick and roll?

Just watched the last 5 minutes of the game so can't talk about the dynamics/momentum of the game

Was Deng bad and getting killed by PG earlier in the game cause having JC guarding looked like a really bad move ? ( PG killed the switch twice though ).

George was contained most of the game, but in the end, he's a super star for a reason.

Sure but guarding him with a 6'4 guard is strange ...

We went small again and we had DAR/JC guarding George which was suicidal.

Because of Byron these young kids have built this losing mentality and that losing is normal. Luke is trying to teach them to be mad with themselves and come out firing on all cylinders when we lose for the next game. They should be furious and take out their anger on their next opponent every time they lose. So Luke's upset with the effort not being there

Yeah. That's one of the things I was worried about and posted on last season. We developed some bad habits that will take time for Luke to work out of our guys.
