The recent Okc team come to mind, 23 wins to 50 wins. Edit: http://m.sportskeeda.com/slideshow/top-5-single-season-turnarounds-in-nba-history 2014 article
Could easily have been Scoreboard Lakers over the big bad Blazers. Unless Lillard played in the 2nd half. Part of Russell just needing to become more consistent. Clarkson too. Russ's longer shots weren't dropping like they had the prior 2 games, and not the first, but he was still getting plenty of good looks. Portland had that team last year under a good coach. We are starting from scratch with finally a good coach.
I think Luke is gold. There was a small amount of doubt just given our recent history of bad choices, but I think it's absolutely clear now that Luke is gold and should be our coach for a very long time.
No thoughts of laps...suicide drills or hearing about demeaning put downs? No wonder Russell wants to play for the man. I'm sure Walton has or will discuss with Russell his shortcomings but it will be constructive meant for him to grow as a player and a person.
Was this already posted? http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...itzRss&utm_campaign=usatodaycomnba-topstories Short version: Walton shows up to practice as a rookie smelling of alcohol, Kobe destroys him. Then Shaq does the same.
Luke knows what's up. I know it was a joke from him but I think there was some truth to it when Luke said the guys wanted to make sure they weren't putting guys at the FT line but that doesn't mean you don't put a hand up or guard your man regarding the terrible 2nd quarter defense. Luke also makes a great point about having to really stay with your man when they go small (play Randle) at Center because there is not much help. This is something I think is going to take a lot of time for us to master because everyone has to be on the same page and on that string.
