Cowherd is the worst, glad he left ESPN radio. He's loud mouth in his views and takes every chance to inflate himself when he thinks he is right. But when he is wrong, you hear nothing of it.
Thank gawd Blurays are the better alternative. I hated bleeping DVDs after he snowed everyone. What's he doing these days by the way? Maybe a "For the Win" type book in his future?
So just reset my password...and the security question or whatever is who is the coach of the Lakers. I had to type in Byron Scott...such bad memories resurface.
Highly coveted assistant coach from Miami. Good coach! Kind of a bargain bin fit, but should do a decent job before they fire him in a year or two while not vastly improving the roster.
With MDA, Harden might very well finish in the top 3 for MVP next year. The team will be s***, but Harden will have a monster year. Anyone else read Jason Terry say that Dwight might stay. I guess JT didn't pay attention to the last time MDA "coached" Dwight. Like the assistant hires. No one I wanted for Luke's staff.
What other jobs are open? That was the last one right? Memphis is taken. New York is taken. Houston is taken. Orlando is taken. Indiana is taken. Sacramento is taken. Is there one I'm missing? If not, then I say give Blatt a call. Finish off the staff with Blatt, Bickerstaff, whoever Luke brings with him, and maybe the player development coach that's working with the kids right now.
Eh. Fine. He'd be great and it's a good fit, but if he doesn't want to do it then that's fine. Skiles is also a good choice.
I wasn't high on Blatt anyway. I don't like Skiles here either. He's too much of a hard head. I don't see him vibing with Luke and Brian Shaw's more chilled out style.
I just want to surround Luke with experience. Sure he's coached for 40 some odd games but that's not much relatively speaking. Guys who have had the position before will notice pitfalls faster than he will. Bickerstaff is the most natural fit I think but there's room for two more guys on that bench (plus player coaches like Little Scott who I believe is still practicing with our guys right now).
Watching the Warriors game right now I just realized that while I was not a big fan of Luke as a player (mainly because he made 5 mil per and was slow as hell), my feelings of him as a player are no different that that of him as a coach. Basically I've always loved when Luke was on the bench.
