The core of Fox, Hield and Bagley looked so promising.

i'm not positive about that, but they're not the right kind of roster for luke to be doing his thing (ball/player movement read/react offense), at any rate.

I think Walton is kind of a one trick pony. He is not great at understanding what kind of talent he has and making the right adjustment for that talent.

WCS was part of what made them promising. Fox, Hield, Barnes, Bogdan, and Cauley-Stein was fun.

think their combined records across the league indicate everyone was at fault.

It's weird because Sac saw success last season when they were playing fast. You expect with Luke around they would keep playing at a fast pace but for whatever reason Luke has slowed their offense down. Bagley going down in the first game doesn't help either but still.

Its very early still...starting 0-5 is a hole thats tought o climb out of...

but Utah has impressively shown how you can finish the first half of the season 10 game below .500 and then make the playoffs comfortably...

Not saying Sacramento will be in the post-season. But they aren't the worst team in basketball IMO as they have been the first 5 games.
