I liked Luke more than most did, but I’m thrilled this isn’t our problem right now.

It's really very amazing that this has NOT hit the newscasts for more publicity. If this would have happened when he was with the Lakers it would be all you would EVER hear about on the newscasts. The way the media works is so full of BS, it's a drag.

Luke is very lucky he's not getting suspended for this...optics of this still don't look good and the investigation has not concluded on the legal side of things. NBA and Kings are not decision makers in this...this is why Kelli did not make any statements to them.

Kelli made no statements to the NBA for the same reason why she has yet to file a criminal complaint with the police. Her allegations can't be supported by evidence except for her testimony. It's her word against his. A criminal investigation only helps Luke's defense.

Yeah well we better hope he sucks as much as blamed here while under the thumb of Magic and the roster they gave him last season with not enough Bigs at the start and no shooters, plus the suspensions and INJURIES all f****** season. Cause they have a decent roster. All things considered with health both clubs surely we're better. But I don't think Luke sucks as portrayed. Staggering players though ..... as bamboozling sorcery with those animals ..... is hilarious.

I think it's easy to underestimate how important it is to have quality veterans on a team and not relying on a bunch of youngins who don't really know the game as key players.

I hope Luke does well in Sacramento, and he can look back on the Laker experience for what it was. (If it was) And if it wasn't, may he forever be judged as harshly as if he had received a full MLE while being a scrub.

Sorry, hockey subs in the NBA are stupid. In order for them to even have a chance you have to be 10 deep with a lot of vets. Luke is not a smart coach, his lineups last year were often nonsensical and idiotic. Sure he can improve, hopefully he does, but the point of those tweets is to celebrate that we have left his crap behind. I guarantee if he were here LeBron and AD would go out at the same time, maybe even McGee with them, there’d be no staggering so that the bench gets to have a star out there at most times. Hopefully when Kuz comes back he takes a step forward and also gets staggered with offensively limited players to make up for them some. Luke never tried any of this, his lineups were so bad sometimes you wondered if he was TRYING to get fired.

I don't relish disrespecting Luke. Long time Walton fan, from San Diego and all. But his rotations did suck. Someone would get hot and they were instantly on the bench.

Looking over the years, Riley was totally predictable, he almost always made the right moves. You could call them out before he made them. Phil was impossible to understand on a consistent basis. Made strange decisions and had weird rotations. But he won and you had to admire his genius. Luke was almost predictable in a bad way, he would infuriate me with bad moves and rotations. It was like you saw something good happen and you could predict that Luke would mess it up.

In his regular season coaching debut with the Kings, Luke loses to the Suns by 29.
