Rondo is also sitting out and Lance will have the primary ball handling duties for the 2nd unit. Luke said he knows what Lance can do on his own but wants to see the ball move with that unit. Another good test for Lance.
Luke hit the nail on the end to start the post game press conference. You could tell from the first 5 minutes the 3 key things he was looking for in the game - 1) Screening 2) Not turning the ball over 3) Not fouling We weren't good at all.
I'd imagine we see plenty of Lonzo though as he continues to get that rust offensively off. I'm happy for those guys sitting out we pretty much made it through without any injuries. That's certainly something to be thankful for.
Quad injury? Is that serious??? Is Ingram gonna pull a Kawhi and demand a trade??? So many questions so little time.
probably that small tweak when Lance fell into Ingram's foot while Ingram was trying to get out of the way. Happened in the 3rd quarter I believe. It was a loose ball foul and Ingram went to the FT line after. He looked fine, I'm not worried.
Luke I really like you and I stick up for you quite a lot on this forum, more so than others. Please, do the right thing and start Lonzo as soon as possible. I hope you at least have him close games which is most important.
Huge lack of /very poor halfcourt sets even for a 1st game with a "new" roster . Our coaching staff will have to do a lot better when it comes to putting the players in the right positions to succeed
Good things? We gave up 128 points to Lillard, McCollum, and a collection of other dudes, to put it kindly. We let Nik freaking Stauskas score 24 points... And Kuz is NOT A DAMN CENTER.
