    Luuuuke could get the booooot?

Per Mitch Lawrence @ Sporting News:

Seems like a huge departure to Jeanie's #InLukeWeTrust movement...but Fitz is dope so I'm fine with either Luke or him. Just make sure the #2018Plan is fulfilled.

I am torn between my dislike for Puke and my hate for LeBron. Hmm... who should I side with...

    In either case, f*** Magic!

Stay in Cleveland. Go to Houston. Go to Philadelphia. Go to hell. Pop your achilles. Please. We're going to be the f****** L.A. LeBrons instead of Lakers on the jerseys next.

i like fizdale as a coach, but i'm not sure i like him more than luke. more importantly, i don't like setting a tone of lebron appeasement to this level.

i'd consider forcing luke to fire one of his drinkin' buddies in favor of hiring fizdale as an associate head coach, though! (provided it meant lebron was coming).

Luke should be fine with that. It's not like Fiz has openly said he wants his job or anyth ...... errrr ..... never mind. We could take bets on how long before LeDouche is bumping into him deliberately on the sideline.

Everyone saying, "If it's for Lebron, you have to do it!" C'mon. Luke has done a great job this season. He has made mistakes and we've had some bumps along the way, but we're getting in a groove. The guys obviously like playing for Luke. At what point is it too much appeasement for Lebron? I know championships are the ultimate scoreboard, but at some point, selling out to that degree can do more harm than good. Not to mention, I think Walton is a better coach than Fizdale. Don't understand the hype with that guy. He's on TV a lot, but all he's done is take a good Grizzlies team and made them...still good?

I don't see anyone above you saying "If it's for LeBron, you have to do it!".

I like the "bring him in as an assistant" idea, but honestly that's going to be viewed the same as "Luke is getting replaced". The very moment Luke messes up, the whole NBA world will jump to say "they need to give the reins to Fizdale". Still, Fizdale is a solid coach. If this move is made I won't hate it, I'll just be disappointed.

I honestly don't think Fizdale is going to be a deciding factor in the LeBron sweepstakes, but he has been VERY complimentary of our organization and team on ESPN. It's been weird.

LOL. LeBron's gonna do Puke using his well-tested Blatt style? With Fiz being an oversized version of Lue?

    LOL.

I don't believe this report one bit. Even Eric Pincus tweeted last night from the people he's talked to this isn't true.

And even if it were to happen I'd really be upset with managment. What a slap in the face of Luke with all the work and progress he's made with our young guys. Talk about hitting the reset button on what kind of identity we want to play with.

Wait until LLLLL has LFR shut down after it does an analysis on how the Lakers now hide him on defense with his declining ability on that side of the ball.

This would mean that Kuz in that 2nd unit would likely slide down to play the SF spot is my thinking. If Luke did decide to go with that big Front Court of Thomas and Zubac

It’s pretty funny that we will go to “funky” lineups rather than acknowledge the existence of Deng. I mean we aren’t technically shorthanded, he CAN play, we’d just rather not. I’m good with that though, Bryant and Zu our there together probably can’t be worse than Deng. At the same time I kind of want to see the old man play and earn a little of that money he’s stealing.

OK T. Bryant. Let's see what you got when you play against the big boys. Big chance to shine or at least look like you'r e worth keeping. Same of course continuing for Zu. Would be cool if those two can kick a little butt out there.

    T. Bryant did just have a 30pts game and 4 3pt made against the Warriors back in November.

Santa Cruz Warriors that is.

Could you see Luke channeling Phil with a "Sit you a$% down!" to Lebron if he tried to pull a Blatt/Lue and take the coaching reigns?
