I like Luke's rotations as of late. 9 man rotation with a lot of our guys able to play multiple positions. No more random Brewer/Ennis sightings. I hope we stick with it (with Ball moving into the starting line up) the rest of the season. Only using Ennis as the victory cigar, Brewer for energy when our guys are slacking and Frye when BroLo is ice cold and we need the extended range.
Agreed. The rotations are really clicking. I think starters once Ball is ready should be: Ball/Pope/Ingram/Randle/Lopez. First sub package is: Thomas/Ball/Hart/Kuzma/Randle Second sub pacakge is: Thomas/Hart/Ingram/Kuzma/Zubac Killer lineup is: Ball/Hart/Ingram/Kuzma/Randle or Thomas/Ball/Hart/Ingram/Randle
Not really sure where to post this but thought given the title of the article and how this is how Luke wants to play "position less basketball" I thought this would be the place. I always love the pictures taken in these pieces.
Looking at the cover pic only Randle's shoulders look taller than BI's. Alligator arm smack overrated.
Besides some early season rotation blunders by Luke...he's adjusted well and I'm overall pleased with him as a coach. Just glad we don't have drill sergeant as our coach anymore...he would have this team at the bottom of the west again. At this rate, we're looking at possibly a 10-game improvement from last year to this year. That's genuinely an impressive feat and that will show everyone that we're making progress in the same way that Minny did last year (and then they added Jimmy Butler to their core)
Just getting to this. Yeah the photos are great and a lot of the time when I'm here I'm on my circa 2012 27" Mac cinema display at between HD and 4K rez. I've always too liked these articles that are put out in 16x9 AR if you have an HD or higher monitor or want to flip your hopefully phablet sized phone horizontally. Like this. But ^^^ that's more like Kareem up on the really BIG screen in 2.35:1 AR.
WOW! Gotta be the most exciting piece Ding has ever written and especially with his bad rep as Jeanie's mouthpiece. But I love this. And seriously it ties a lot of what we are seeing now at this point in time of Lakers history .... to our successful championship past in different eras even. Magic and Showtime and Shaq-Kobe Lakers playing the Kings in the epic WC battles. Because of the Kings special players and offense and Tex and Phil's Triangle offense. Thru > Kerr > Walton > Magic coming back and even > Pelinka having been there with C. Webb on the original Fab 5 team.
